Profitable day yesterday hitting big on the Patriots. Tonight I like the Falcons. Not sure why people think the 49ers have the motivational edge in this one just because the playoff race. Mike Smith had this game circled over 10 months ago. This will also be the final game played at Candlestick ever, sounds like one team will be playing with high emotions and 1H jitters if you ask me.

Good luck Cap. I am with you. Digging the Falcons tonight for same reason. Big motivational game and revenge factor for the falcons I know you typically stay away from side bets but I also really like the under in this game.

If they win this, they are most likely in the playoffs. (Very doubtful that NO loses next week). Their motivation will be driven by the intensity of the stadium. With this most likely being the last game at the stick, the crowd should be into this game as much as a playoff game. Motivation and intensity edge definitely have to go to SF here. If you want to watch a defense that nobody talks enough about, watch tonights game.

How will the Falcons move the ball? With hopes & dreams? Matt Ryan has thrown 12 TDs & 14 INTs on the road this year. What's he gonna do against the best defense he's faced. Mike Smith is a joke of a coach. Give me Hardball over him anyday. Good luck w/ your pick.

Can't just weigh one team's motivation and not the other. Mind elaborating on ATL's motivation? Every1 thinks they have none cuz there record is 4-10.

Why is Mike Smith a bad coach? If i'm not mistaken, the Falcons made the NFC Championship last year, he's also 4-1 ATS playing on the west coast in his career which should dismiss all those threads I see of Falcons travelling across the country.

Every professional team and athlete has motivation. People who say a team has no motivation are flat out retarded. Atlanta surely wants to end their dismal season on a high note, and start working on things for next year. It's always nice to stand up to a bigger opponent and think you can possibly spoil their chances for the playoffs. But you are highly underestimating the Niners motivation in this game. The Stick will be the loudest it's been in quite some time and it should rival that of a playoff game, if not more. You're also talking about a QB that is 36-9 at home, but 24-23 on the road in his career. I do understand Atlanta's motivation, but I fail to understand how you can say Atlanta has more motivation tonight than SF. Care to elaborate?

Falcons getting +14 is 11-2-1 on the season and they are playing some inspired ball lately. Not sure why anyone would want to lay 14 points against that especially when the 49'ers are so prone to being an offensive dud and only putting up 23 when they should have eclipsed 35 with ease.
The teams 49'ers have beat at home by 15+ are the Texans and....well....just the sorry Texans. that's the only one. Inexperienced gamblers are jumping on a 49'ers blowout and cant reason through these simple things.

Au contraire, mon frere. Click through just a couple of these threads, and there are plenty around these parts who are licking their chops to grab the 14 and back a team that's "had this game circled since the schedule was released." Falcons have plated plenty of horrid football on the road this season to think twice about backing them here.
