Not this week Baldy!
My personal plays went 2-1 this week, winning w/ room to spare on NYJ and NE and losing on Hou. Those plays are now 25-10-2 for the season and 6-2-2 (75%) the L3 weeks.
My ATS computer system plays went 3-1 (75%) this week, winning on KC, Atl and NE and a tough loss on Min due to two returns for TD by GB. Those plays are now 34-13-1 (72%) on the year and 10-5-1 (67%) the L3 weeks.
My Overs system had 2 plays, but on Saturday I ruled one out due to weather. The other one, NYG/Phi, was Over 43 w/ 11:24 left in the 3rd quarter, bringing that mark to 7-2 (78%) on the season. (Same system that went an unreal 21-1 last year).
My Unders system didn't do as well as it had the past 2 weeks. It had a losing 2-3 day, putting it at 14-8-1 (64%) YTD and 9-3-1 (75%) the last 3 weeks.
I'm not going to have a play tonight. Sit back on the good week and look towards next week.
Thanks for the kind words BiggDogg and Brown Truck.
Interesting assessment from Sniper. So I assume all players of the forum are having a GREAT season because "it's been a pretty easy year" according to you. I'm sure all touts are up big too, right? Wrong. NFL wise:
Wayne Root went 1-5 yesterday after going 2-4 last Sunday.
Phil Steele went 1-2 yesterday
Jefferson Sports went 2-5 yesterday
Great Lakes (had been in the lead for the Oklahoma Sports Monitor's monitored plays at 71% on the season) went 0-3 yesterday
Just to name a more famous guys. I will agree w/ you that most "touts" are much better marketers and professional harassers than they are handicappers.
You say "go against the public", but I think the public cleaned up pretty nicely yesterday.
Also, you say "just play one or two games a week" and you could be a capper too?
Not sure what that means. It's not hard for people to bet 1-2 games a week and lose. I will agree in a round about way that I think many people take on too many games per day, and therefore lose the edge they may have in just a couple of their stronger sides. Sure, they may have great weekend here and there, but it is very hard in the long haul to try to win if you are making 10 plays a day.
But your point is pretty muddled. Fade the public, make a couple plays a day, and the NFL is easy this season? I'm winning this year and have for several, and I can tell you one thing, it's certainly not easy. It takes a lot of time, research, analysis, and you have to have some breaks along the way as well. I never release a play and sit back and say "boy, that's a great play, I can't wait to win this game". Each and every play I can see the pros and cons and I am never fully 100% confident in anything. I guess that makes me a bad tout, like Czaban said, right skins?
I'd rather NOT be like Lang and be considered a "bad tout" by Czaban because I share a lot of info and insights, as long as I keep winning.
