hate to see you on carolina, even though my head says it's the logical play
niners need this win bad...i hope ur wrong and we win in a blow out
gl with the rest of ur plays
I always root for my team. I just make my bets unbiased and let the chips fall where they may.

Unless you guys split.
Looks like a nice card, Niner. BOL. How have you done so far this season?

Thanks bro. I feel real good about the card this week. Chicago is probably the only game I don't have a strong opinion on, it's more of a play against Washington.
Obviously anything is possible and I certainly could be wrong, but I will be surprised if 3 out of the 4 of Buffalo, Green Bay, San Diego, and Dallas don't hit. Despite what many on this board are saying, I think Buffalo gives Baltimore all they can handle and then some. 13 is significant value here
I do think Dallas opens up a can on the Giants. Just a fantastic spot for th Cowboys IMO. If I am wrong their season is over and I can't say that would bother me either

I'm not sure of my overall record, but I am having a good year. Not as strong as I would like, but I am definitely in the black and I usually get stronger as the year goes on. I think that will start this week. I believe I was 4-3 last week (although I didn't get a chance to post my Seattle play, so I think I posted 3-3), but hit Pittsburgh and the NE under pretty hard, so made some good money there. That is all I really keep track of lol.
How you doing bro? You got a read on the Pitt-Miami game this week?
Two weeks ago I had a bad day, which was my only losing week of the year. I deserved that for betting on three winless teams who were favored.
Other than that, pretty solid, but not where I should be.

I'm in the same boat. Grinding it out like always, up a handful of units, but one really bad week(0-3) put a dent in my profits(favres pick 6 on mnf MURDERED me in Week 5). Got a loooooot of football to be played though! Gotta roll with the punches.
I hit Pitt -3 this week. The bottom line is I think Miami is overachieving a bit, and they are hanging tough by playing hard nosed physical football. That is great, but what happens when a bigger, meaner, and badder football team comes to town? A lot of people think that Pitt has this unbelievable untouchable defense, and while they are very good, play LeBeau's schemes flawlessly, and have been forcing turnovers, this is a defense that can be beaten if you play it right. First off and most importantly, you need a smart, poised, and patient QB to take the underneath stuff that Pitt will give you all day. Then on top of that, you have to take those drives and turn them into touchdowns rather than field goals. You also need to be accurate and nail the big play the few times they come about. I like Henne and he has the tools to be a good QB, but I don't think he has the poise right now to handle a defense like Pittsburgh. Especially if they snuff out the run like I think they will. Miami is known for running, and for all I know they are statisically up there, but from what I have seen with my eyes this year, they've been struggling a bit running the ball. Ronnie looks a little tentitive, the Wildcat has been quiet, and Ricky(who looks GREAT so far) isn't touching the ball as much as he should Hand Henne lots of 3rd and 7 and 3rd and 8s and I think it will be a long day for the Phins.
Keep it up, Niner. I always enjoy reading your insights and comments. You have been consistant since the day I joined five years ago and are always a great contributor to the NFL forum.

Glyde - thanks buddy. Appreciate the kind words and likewise.
As far as Miami, I feel the same exact way The Dolphin run game. opens up the pass when they are playing well and the run game simply has not been explosive this year. I think they are a very solid team but don't do anything 'great'. That will keep you in games against most teams, but not necessarily the elite teams in the league. I feel Miami got beat badly by NE, not because NE was the better team, but NE had a couple of real big plays and the Dolphins simply couldn't generate enough offense to catch up...as a result Henne and co. pressed and it got out of control. Feeling like the same thing could happen here if they get behind early. As much as I like Henne, he is still young and is prone to being rattled.
Still looking into adding Pittsburgh, but a few good cappers here, including yourself are high on the Steelers this week and I am starting to feel you're onto something.
Good stuff bro
