Spurs were a +2.5 dog on the road when they closed out memphis in game 4. I could'nt believe how the spurs could ever be a dog in that series at any point as good as the spurs are. Spurs win in game 3 in overtime and the spurs were a dog in that game+4.5 also.
During the regular season I learned that miami, OKC, SPurs and a couple other elite teams in this league have absolutely no buisness ever being an underdog on the road regardless how small of a dog they are. But nevetheless they are a dog.
Notable recent losses I took taking small favorites were
Miami-3 vs indiana game 6 indiana blows out miami 91-77
Miami-3 vs indiana game 4 indiana covers 99-92
Miami as a favorite covered in Game 2. I think miami as a dog covers game 3. But make no mistake miami will lose atleast 1 game in san antonio.
Coming from a bettor like me that likes to take favorites I'm rolling with the underdog today in the Miami Heat. I expected the Spurs to be a dog since they are a -2.5 favorite I'm going miami+2.5.
REPEAT MIAMI HAS NO GODAMN BUISNESS EVER BEING AN UNDERDOG EVER!
Miami+2.5
Because im a miami heat fan its understandable if you dismiss my analysis cause of my bias. All of your input would be appreciated. But jesus why would the best road team in the NBA ever be a dog on the road?
I've fell for it quite a few times this year taking a favorite -2.5 (sucker bet). How is this not a sucker bet for the public. Miami's opponents seem to always fall as the public's team because of the public's dislike for Miami.
I remember when the New England Patriots were a +1.5 dog on the road vs the jets 2 years ago. Yes the Patriots have no buisness ever being an underdog ever and they beat the jets on the road accordingly.

Comparing the football teams to basketball teams lmao. Pretty sure the Pats beat the Jets that game by DD in the regular season, I know because I was on the Pats.

Those teams shouldnt ever be dogs on the road? Thats silly.
You dont feel laying -2.5 is a sucker play for the casual bettor? It just doesnt feel right jtoler taking the spurs. I was onboard taking the spurs after a loss in a revenge spot similar to miami's game 2. It just seems too easy laying the favorite. If Miami was the favorite by -2.5. I would pound the sh-t outta the spurs+2.5 at home in a revenge spot after their game 2 blowout without hesitation. Does that make sense?
I am convinced spurs are gonna win 1 game in the next 3 in texas. I just dont see this one.

It was like 2 years ago I think. And bettors were saying pats an underdog? How? Why? Didnt matter they covered by dd like you said. At +1.5 I think.

Honestly no to me it doesnt make sense. So youre saying since the Spurs are -2.5 at home youre gonna bet the Heat, but if the Heat were -2-5 on the road tonight youd bet the Spurs? With that thinking you think the oddsmaker knows the outcome of the game. Well that isnt true, they arnt trying to trick anyone, Spurs aint an 8th seed, its their home court of course they are gonna be favored.

I was on the Pats that game too. But why were the patriots ever in a postion to be considered an underdog vs the Jets by oddsmakers is the million dollar question.

got to give him a break...at least he admits he is a bias fan.
I even said i was gonna zigzag the series and jump on the team right after a loss and take Spurs after they lost big in game 2. Instead of sticking to my guns I did a typical fan overeaction to the blowout in Game 2 and took Miami again+2.5 Game 3. Same sh-t that fu-ked my pacers/miami series. Anticipating 2 wins in a row from miami since the beggining of the indy/heat series has been my achillies heel.

You mean the night game? Jets were rolling. Pats I believe lost to Pitt the week earlier or something like that. Everyone had a hard on with the Jets.
