I’ve
been pretty conservative early in the season, so it’s weird that
I’d have 2 plays on a card that only involves 3 games in total.
This Raptors team has been very impressive early on, and I really
like them to keep this game close. Lowry and Derozan have combined to
produce what could possibly be the best back court in the league in
the first couple of games. This Lowry kid looks like the real deal,
and I have a feeling Houston will regret letting him go. Derozan, on
the other hand, looks like the player they expected him to be, plus
more. I could tell just by looking at him the first game that he put
on a couple of pounds in the off season. He looks thicker, less
intimidated, and more committed to getting to the hoop. This Oklahoma
team is clearly lacking big time production from the bench with no
Harden. I just don’t get it, and it a couple of years, I think we
may look back on this as one of the biggest mistakes the NBA has seen
in a long time. To basically choose Westbrook over Harden was
criminal, and you can tell Harden is playing with a chip on his
shoulder. I’m not saying he will continue to put up the insane
numbers he has, but I think he’s a better balanced, more
intelligent, and all around more polished player than Westbrook. I’d
like to keep babbling on, but I’m off to class. As always, Good
luck everyone.
