There will be a lot of sad broke people on here... Cavs have tons of injuries right now(kyrie hurt, love out for season...), they don't have home court adv. hawks should not be underestimated, these guys are healthy and had a legit record this season even beating many top teams in the west.
I took hawks at 4 to 1 after NJ series and 5.5 to 1 after their game 1 loss to Washington.
I'm not saying hawks should be favorites in this series but they have a decent chance to beat the cavs

yes moneyshot. ...everybody thinks that cavs will win the series.Atl has the home court advantage just like houston, history was made against the clippers . I think Atlanta will also make a history in the east.

Cavs play just as well on the road, maybe even better. Don't think home court is much of an advantage in this series. LeBron and his bros could easily win one of the two in Atlanta.. maybe both.

If Hawks could barely beat a Wizards team without Wall, I doubt they could beat the Cavs.
Hawks played cavs really well in reg season, yes I know that's the reg season but at least the hawks know they can beat them. That's the first step.
Cavs should be favored due to LBJ but by -220 w/o home court? Home court means a lot to the hawks (maybe not as much to Cavs) but hawks, especially their younger guys, are more confident at home and feed off crowd.
I'm prob not going to bet series before game1 due to me already having an East Future on hawks but I think Cavs with them not 100% are way more vulnerable now obviously than they were before playoffs. Ripe for an upset? Maybe, maybe not, but -220 seems too much to me. I feel they should be more around -180 at most.
And please, don't give me the 'no way hawks win because nba will not let them win east bs' ... Sure the refs will give most calls to Cavs, we know that going in but hawks still have a legit chance. Orlando magic beat a hugely favored lbj Cavs when lbj was in Cleveland in his first stint. No one thought the Magic with Howard would take out lbj, everyone penned in Kobe's Lakers vs Lbj Cavs for a dream finals but that didn't happen. I bet Orlando on that series too and they won in 6 but anyways my point is Cavs winning is NOT a lock.
That's right, Cavs winning is NOT a lock. I'm not arguing that they shouldn't be favored but don't bet your house, don't bet 100% of your bankroll, don't bet your 15k fake money that you post... Bet Cavs if you want just bet what you can afford.

lol if the refs gifted the Cavs game 4 in the Bulls series what makes you think that they wont have the refs in this series too?
do you believe the NBA is a fair, equally-officiated contest? lmao.
no one wants to see the fukin boring behind Hawks in the finals.
and if Korver is still in his slump they'll probably lose in 5
LeBron wins any series it is refs gave it to him. When he loses he isn't clutch. Certainly has never happened before that the best player in the league got the calls.

Hawks are just so inconsistent. Often, Hawks look very soft, at best a mediocre team against mediocre opponents. Some games, they look unstoppable, especially when the offense gets in a groove.
Primary concern I have against the Hawks, are that they drop games they should win - against opponents they should dominate and close out easily. Not sure how that translates against the Cavs and LeBron James, especially considering injuries.

Posted on here many times, my love for ATL & futures on Hawks
Listening to the radio today, 1 out of maybe a dozen guys says Atlanta will win (in 7).. some are even saying Cavs sweep... What a joke. No respect. Let's dance and go Hawks!

I already conceded that the cavs will get most of the calls. Superstars always get more calls, that's been the nba since the beginning. That's no secret or conspiracy, everyone knows it.
Cavs could definitely win this, they are rightfully the favorite according to Vegas, again I am not arguing that case... I'm just saying the hawks have a chance to win this series. My point is that cavs winning is not a lock. No one should be shocked if hawks put up a fight and not lay down to the King. I feel like the hawks are definitely being overlooked here, it's not like the Cavs tore through the Bulls. 2 games the cavs won could of went either way. cavs won 2 of 3 very close games, and if the refs saw that blatt timeout Cavs would if been down 3-1 in that series...
