The Knicks are off of a big win to end their losing streak. The Knicks blew out a horrific Bobcats team on the road. Well I'm hearing that the Cavs are another bad team like the Pistons and Bobcats. I completely disagree these are not last year's Cavaliers. Cleveland is 6-10 this season and that includes a tough West Coast road trip where they played very well and competitive. THE CAVALIERS WERE ALSO NECK AND NECK WITH THE HEAT IN MIAMI. That's very impressive as they had 2 days off to regroup after 2 blowout losses and almost won in Lebron's court.
The Cavs have a great young point in Irving so he'll expose the Knicks useless perimeter D. The Cavs are the better team they are hungry and the Knicks probably think they are legitimate while they are not. Can't pass up this value and I see Cleveland winning here.
Bobcats - Wizards Over 192.5 (-108) to win 15 units
Both teams are ranked in the top 10 in PACE. So I expect them to push the ball. The Bobcats are struggling to score but today they go up against a bad Wizards D, and without Augustin, Kemba Walker will push the ball up the court.
The Wizards fired their Head Coach yesterday. Their new Coach will not have had enough time to set up half-court plays and schemes. So with the Wizards being young and athletic he's going to push the pace. The Bobcats play no D and are on a b2b so the Wiz will score. Points galore!

"The Pacers played the Bulls very close in their 1st Round series last year." "The Bulls are without Gibson and Deng so they Indiana will surely keep it close." "Pacers +9 is free money and they'll come out hard after getting blown out by the Magic at home."
I'm not following and I'm going to keep riding the Bulls gravy train. The Bulls are very aware that they had a very tough series with the Pacers last season. They also know that Indiana is 2nd in the division only 3.5 games back and Indiana is a "sexy contender" this year in the East. Yes the Pacers want revenge, but the Bulls want to show these guys who's boss. The Bulls are going to be hungry and focused to make a statement that they are the team to be beat in the East.
The Pacers were a horrible team on back-to-backs last season. This past Sunday they finished up a 3-game West Coast swing, they came back home yesterday and lost after a 7-point 1st Quarter lead, and now they have to head out to face the Bulls on a b2b. I think they'll be tired here. Backup point guard AJ Price is likely out for the Pacers so Collison will have even more pressure going up against Derrick Rose. The Bulls have scorers in Hamilton and Boozer. Chicago has a great D and will limit Granger and Co.
"TOO BIG, TOO FAST, TOO STRONG, TOO GOOD." GO BULLS GO!
Mavericks -5.5 (-105) to win 20 units
Today the Mavericks are having their ring ceremony for their Championship. Earlier this season the Mavs had their banner raising ceremony and got clobberred by the Heat so I fully expect them to be much more prepared and focused here especially without Dirk Nowitzki. The Twolves will also be a little bit distracted as well as star Kevin Love got a fat contract extension.
The Timberwolves are going to have trouble scoring against the 3rd best defense that Dallas brings out. Minnesota is without their small forwards in Beasely and Johnson, so they have to put rookie PF Williams at SF. Shawn Marion is going to absolutely shut him down and is playing great ball. Kidd, Terry, and West can handle Rubio and Ridnour and will want to show them a thing or two after the Timberwolves beat them earlier in the year by 17, when Johnson and Beasely both started. Downlow, Odom and Haywood will focus a lot of attention on Love to slow him down. I like the Mavs here.

Hawks to win Eastern Conference (+2200) to win 350 units (bet365)
This is a bit of a longshot future but the way I see it is that this Hawks team is one of the best teams in the East.
2011-2012 Season:
The Hawks have already beaten the Miami Heat in Miami and while I'm not certain they could beat Miami in a Series they will play them very competitively as they have athetlic defenders in Smith, Johnson, and Williams to contain Bosh, Wade, and Lebron. Likely if they play the Heat it'll be in the late rounds so I'll be able to hedge nicely.
The Hawks when fully healthy are a better team than the Bulls IMO. On their 3rd game in 3 nights the Hawks spanked the Bulls at home winning 109-94 in a game where they were up by 23 heading into the 4th. The Hawks also barely lost to the Bulls on the road by 2 points 76-74. In that game the Hawks were up about 16 before collapsing because they were dog tired on their 4th game in 5 nights off of a big win at Miami the night before. The Hawks would have won that game if they were fit. Last season the Hawks took the Bulls to 6 games with a immature team and no bench. This year Teague is a year older to contain Wade and they have the depth to beat the Bulls.
The Hawks are better than the Celtics, they beat the Magic last year in the playoffs so they could do it again, and IMO the Hawks can beat th younger Sixers and Pacers. Atlanta is battle-tested.
Atlanta took Boston's Championship team to 7 in the 1st Round in 2008, they lost in the 2nd Round to the Magic in 2009, they lost to the Bulls in the 2nd Round in 2010. So this team has been their before and have grown a lot over the past year. They have added veterans to their bench with good personalities. Obviously Horford is injured but there is a chance he comes back and I believe he will. In this condensed schedule, teams with continuity and good fitness like the Hawks thrive and I fully believe they'll be in a good postseason spot to start the playoffs.
The Hawks get Hinrich back today and he will even bolster their depth and add to their 4th ranked defense. Atlanta is full of veterans, have gone through tough losses together, but this year they are turning a corner and in the playoffs their building is one of the toughest to play in. More than enough value for me to make a play on.

Should say would have won that game if they were not on 4-in-5 and while the Bulls were fresh.

Very tough man- they could cover but I'm gonna pass today- the Spurs only home game in a while after playing terrible against the Kings last home game they'll be hungry tonight.
If Hawks win tonight I will be extremely impressed.

I like the Wiz over too, my only problem is all those injuries. Bol
Ya I just think Kemba pushes the ball more than Augustin but I know what you mean. So long as the Wizards don't completely blow out the Bobcats this Over should hit.
