Fever,
Let me guess, you won $4,500 on your baseball bet and $3,000 on your second half wager right? Good job man.
Not even close smart ass.

You want to consistently lose? Go with yout gut. You want to survive 20+ years, you break down the game and analyze.
Funny how all the critics come out after the play loses.
The bet lost ... I can get over it. Seems many of the newbies here can't.
Why I can live with this loss is simple ... Because deep down inside I knew it was the right play ... the game went over by 3 points and you are shitting me if you tell me that over bettors were not biting their nails. The Heat don't make a couple of those magical first quarter 3's and this game goes under. I can live with 2-3 point losses because I know my analysis was correct. It's the "not even close" results that tell me my thinking was way off.
This reminds me of the covers of old .... a bunch of tailers and only a handful that actually do a little work. Then a game loses after going on a run and all the experts come out from under their beds.

Pro_Capper ... you are right. The game 1 under was predicated on the fact that both teams, especially OKC were coming in off major rest. I would want to see some line adjustments before stepping up .. unless the situation proves otherwise.
However we saw two different games last night with OKV showing they can play some great defence, limiting the Heat to only 40 second half points. OKC shot 51% from the field in game one ... the other question is can they continue to do that against Miami who we know can play defence?
There are a few things to consider going forward.

Anyone that risks tailing gets what he deserves. Nice writeup and all but handle your losers better if you're that smart.

Doesn't sound like you're moving on to game 2 after all. You don't get my respect by retorting to haters no matter how good the record. Who's being more childish?

No...it wasn't the right call. If the game had finished under then it would have been the right call.
Geez it is so funny when some people lose on a bet they still insist that they were on the right side...even when that side loses....lol
The only thing that was right was that the linesmakers put out the right total number that easily influenced action on both sides.
They are not going to put a total out that can easily be seen as not right where bettors can spot it and load up on it with action mainly going on one side....capiche?

The reason you believe it was the right call (JK) was because you fell in love with fever's nicely written write-up.
You got sucked in by the nice write-up and the 6-2 record with winnings in excess of 11 gees.
