Tonight they lost their 16th straight game. I believe the NBA record is 26 straight losses. I'm just wondering 2 things. 1. Is Tom Gores going to sell this team to an owner who wants to win. 2. If he keeps the team, how long before he fires the GM Weaver?
All Weaver has done is filled the roster with a lot of garbage. How do you give Marvin Bagley lll a 3 year contract? Why did he want Wiseman? Why go after guys like Harris? Lots of poor 1st round players and garbage players no other team would ever want. Nice job.
Even if they have the worst record and get the #1 pick, is there a player who could make a difference out there? I keep looking at Mock Drafts and a lot of people believe the Pistons take Ron Holland from the G League Ignite. 6'8" and a little over 200. Don't know much about him, but I looked at all these other names, and non of them seem like a player who could turn the team around.
Tough time to be a Piston fan. We had the Bad Boys and now the Really Bad Boys (bad in a worse way).
I refuse to belong to any organization that will have me as a member.
