The numbers are out there for reasons to fade me too, so tail or follow at your own risk as always.
Here's WHY I'm making these plays.
1. Knicks/BOS: I'm a huge fan of both teams, top 2 favorite teams in the league actually. I follow both of them very closely and feel I know their personalities pretty well. Boston is old, sliding, and in the middle of an EVERY OTHER DAY schedule since the 14th. NYK has only played twice in the last week (one loss as a "road team in BKN...not exactly a road game, and before that they pounded DET on the road, same detroit team that JUST gave the bulls all they could handle) and are only going to Boston. Ever fly? Who is more tired, Boston that's been traveling around for 2 weeks, or NYK that's been in New York since the 18th? Plus, talk all the trash you want against Amare' Stoudemire, he is going to be the difference maker tonight. These two teams literally are going to fight it out tonight...low scoring game, that's my logic on the under. Boston wants to win, can only do it by grinding on defense in the half court...NYK will sink to their level and bang in the half court. Neither side cracks 95 or gets over 25 in any quarter.
2. LAC/PHO: WTF is everyone thinking? Phoenix, phoenix, phoenix. I'm pretty sure the whole "New Coach" thing is over rated, overhyped. Clippers just lost to OKC at home and you dont think they're out for revenge, on a day of rest? Going from SoCal to Arizona is NOT a long distance to travel plus the climate is similar. LAC is going to lose 3 in a row? GTFO, they barely lost to GS on the road and OKC at home with a banged up CP3. Last time LAC played PHO Jamal Crawford and Griffin dropped bombs on them...who is going to stop them tonight? Jermaine O'Neal is out, there's one less presence on the floor. PHO new coach got a scrappy win against SAC yesterday and are playing AGAIN today. They left last night and had to go home, longer trip than LAC made. Cold hard numers, on 0 days of rest PHO is 3-6-0, on 1 day rest LAC is 14-10-0...and they played an afternoon recently so they'll a little more well rested than if they played two night game B2B traveling (PLUS THEY WERE IN CALI THE WHOLE TIME!).
3. TOR/ORL: If you think ORL can win this game after the way TOR has played MIL, BKN, CHI, PHI(dont laugh, they were in the playoffs last year), LAL and MIAMI you think they lose to Orlando who is terrible, without a star player (Al Harrington is a star? Maybe) and also on an every other day schedule since the 14th, hosting a talented DAL team and losing, flying all the way up to cold behind detroit, getting blown out, flying back to ORL against the scrappy kids that ALMOST beat MIA at home...tell me why? Toronoto is my pony until they let me down. If it was against any top 20 team I'm off the action...ORL is awful. Oh, and on THU Toronto is 9-1-1, doesnt mean much this season other than a trend to spot.
These are my opinion, again tail of fade at your own risk, its your loot not mine. But I'd love to hear why I'm wrong.
*Also, anyone know the ref crews for tonight an the possessions per game they avg., avg. score? My buddy who I consult is on vacation and not responding. Criticial info to consider, especially since I'm still at large on the NYK UNDER.
