It could be a close game, but the arrows look to be pointing in the Rangers' direction. Due to the first game of this series being rained out, I'm unsure of the exact pitching match-up. Either way, this is a 'must win' series for TX.
Lannan, on the other hand, looks to be in line for a win. He's simply too good a pitcher to keep losing games. Philly has had the Nats number this season. We'll see if they are able to 'dial it up' yet again.
I back the Twinkies . . . and they lose. I pick against the Twinkies . . . and they win. A sane person would just leave that team alone, but I am not one to be so easily detoured.
What I failed to account for (w/ MIN) is simple; that team is acclimated to playing in a dome . . . and on astro-turf. Which definitely compromises the home-field advantage, which the Blue Birds are accustomed to enjoying. Anyway, I smell a sweep in the making.
Baltimore did not play on Monday. Nor were they required to hop a plane which concluded a road-trip. If the O's are going to win a single game in this series, this promises to be that game. Every Baltimore fan and player should have a special basket of hatred for the Red Sox. And who can blame them.
