Trying to get over 27 units this month for that's what I made in April, looks unlikely. Lost a live bet on the Brew Crew yesterday, took -2.5(even) up by 3 in the 9th then crap.
Today...
1. Jeff Samardjija UNDER 5.5 K's(+120) *1/1.2
2. Braves TT OVER 3(-130) *1/.77
First red flag here was the line movement. 2nd red flag is Samardzija's game logs, last 6 games SO total read as such: 7,9,9,3,8,7. And the books drop his prop at 5.5?
The Braves have 6 LHB in the lineup today. His splits vs LHB don't look as good than vs RHB. Same goes for his DAY splits.
Buster Posey is resting today. Jeff w/ Trevor Brown behind the plate has 7 earned runs in 13.2 innings. Opposed to 13 earned runs in 57.1 innings w/ Posey.
Home plate UMP John Tumpane is one of the finest squeezers around. This year averaging 13.5 SO per game(5th lowest in the league) For his career he averages 7.05 SO per game against the home team(14th lowest in the league)
All though Samardzija has been pitching extremely well of late, I think he has a hiccup here. Giants flying in late from Colorada for an early game today as well.

All parameters look great for these 2 plays. The juice is right, lay em IMO. Other book has over 6(-130) on the K prop, 15 cents for the hook isn't bad in this situation.

They showed me they can knock around any lefty when they laid wood on Smyly. Their #'s against LHP are superb. Locke is in a horrible spot today imo. Nicolino can frustrate batters for he induces some poor contact often.

10. Dodgers@Cubs 1st 5 UNDER 4.5(-120) *1/.83 units
Alex Wood has been blazing in his last 4 games:
-SO/BB ratio=8.50
-ERA=3.09
-Whip=.90
K9=13.1
Cubs are deploying 7 RHB's today, Wood averages a K for every 3.57 AB's vs RHB's.
Alex Wood averages a K for every 3.32 AB's w/ Grandal catching him this year.
Home plate UMP Paul Emmel calls an average of 7.42 SO's per game against the home team, 9th highest in the majors. He is one of the few rare guys who K's the home team more than the visitors.
I like Wood to carry over his momentum to help him pitch better on the road, where he hasn't been doing as well.
I also expect Hammel to pitch a fine game. Wind blowing straight in at 7mph can't hurt to help us bring in the Under 1st 5.
