Haven't been able to get on that hot streak, 5-6 in a row but in the black, posted and otherwise.
Been waiting for this since I saw the pitching matchup. Snell has been very good his last 4 outings, 24 IP, 2 ERs, 33 K's , shades of the 2018 Cy Young award winner. Still a HPC pitcher, walks and K's will do that which is why I'm playing the 1st 5 only.
Eflin OTR has struggled, ERA over 5 and I don't expect anything different tonight against a talented while underachieving Padres squad.
This is Snell's 1st appearance against his former team, and I'm sure his adrenaline will be flying. That could backfire but he's mature enough now to control it. Still I'd be surprised if he goes more than 5-6 innings but I expect the Snell we saw in Tampa for a couple years.
My gut tells me the Padres will win but the Rays have been good after the 7th inning with a +29 run differential and Fairbanks is back, only throwing 2 pitches last night to close it out. So we'll play the first 5 and recommend a prop for Snell, Over 5.5 K's, he'll likely have that in the 3rd inning. No access to props here but if I could, I would.
1st 5, Padres, pick, -110
As always good luck to all!

Haven't seen much of Soto this year but he definitely has a problem with an inside tailing fastball from a right-handed pitcher. Two strikeouts already exact same pitch

How do you strike out Harold Ramirez when he has two strikes? Just throw a bad pitch, he'll swing at it. I like him, dude can hit but he will chase a bad pitch.
