Horrific and freaky moose las tnight with Minnesota!
Sorry for the late post. Here is what I played today. Too busy working these past few days. Mrs. GH is gone but have lots of work during the day and been playing Bjack late. I have not been capping well on the road and can't wait to get home Sunday night.
Amazing BJack story last night that no dealer had ever previously witnessed. This one bitch was sitting at first base with her husband next to her. She was absolutely hammered and probably in her mid 50's. She had no idea how to play BJack and would stand on things like 13 and 14 when the dealer was showing a ten. Then she would give me sh$% when I hit my 16's, 15's, 14's etc when the dealer had a 7 through 10/A showing and she almost went into shock when I hit my ace-7 's against a ten.
Anyway, she was obnoxious and said some crude things to the dealer on several occasions. Anyway, she must've pounded 7 drinks in 5 hours at the table and her and husband got cleaned out and finally called it quits. They got up and left the table and about a minute later there was a commotion between the pit bosses and the dealer. All of a sudden the chair she was sitting in was pulled away into the put and covered up and the equivalent of a HAZMAT team was called along with all kind of workers. I was like what the hell happened. Finally the towel was removed from the chair as they brought it away under quarantine. The woman didn't even know it. She had her period and a huge blood stain the size of a basketball was on the chair.
I swear this happended and it was FOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't make sh%$ like this up.
I thought for sure this woman was way past menopause and she has no idea what she left behind at the table for the rest of us.

CRAZY STORY, DISGUSTING AND FUNNY AT THE SAME TIME, BTW, I GET THAT ALOT WHEN I HIT ACE SEVEN AGAINST A TEN, ALOT OF PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THAT'S ITS BETTER TO HIT THEN STAY AT THAT HAND, AND WHEN THEY SEE PEOPLE HIT IT, THEY BE TRIPPING, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HIT A TEN THAT SHOULD'VE BUSTED THE DEALER, THEN THEY BE LIKE, WTF, WHY YOU HIT AT ACE 7!!!
GOOD LUCK GH, HOPE YOU'RE HAVING A GREAT TIME IN VEGAS AND WINNING SOME MONEY

A7 is the toughest two cards to play in black jack "period" ...k, seriously, A7 is the the hardest two cards to play and you hitting with the dealer showing a ten was the right move. Your story is ironic as I went to the casino last night, played poker for two hours and played bj for two shoes and as the anchor I was dealt A7, dealer having a ten and he looked at me when I was pondering and said, "A7 is the hardest two cards to play in BJ." ...I hit, got a 6 and then a 7 for 21 (lucky). Fortunately for me, the girl in seat 1 never left anything "behind" **shiver**

Nathan looked like he didn't want to be out there in the 9th - kept twitching and breathing deeply as the pressure mounted - I was a bit disappointed with his demeanor, as, until now, and after Rivera, he, Bobby and Soria were among of my favorite closers in the AL...
But he could not be blamed for what happened on that outrageous play in the ninth - bounder to the mound - Nathan swipes at it nearly catching it for the easy put out (at first), only to have it bounce to second base in plenty of time for Casilla to catch it and touch second (forcing Matthews to end the game) but the friggin ball hits the BASE and bounds out of his reach
That play didn't end the game, but it ended Minny's chance to win in 9 and was hard to watch.
Again, though, what's up with Nathan was the guy feeling sick - he just looked uncomfortable? Normally unflappable and in complete control. Hope he's ok.
