Quick question bro. I just want to make sure I understand your system. It looks like you basically pick a series in which you think there won't be a sweep and let's say you bet to win $100 in gm 1 and win you're done with that series. If you lose you'll bet to win back your bet from game one and the original $100 as well. And so on. That about right? And do you ever bet any dogs or just favs? Thanks bro and it looks like you're doing nice work. Keep it up.

Great job so far. I was tailing Semper a while back in the same chase system but playing only underdogs. Would lose a lot less if a team got swept rather than playing the favorite and paying the juice.
You should probably explain to people that you are 30-2 in winning 1 game of a series. In your case each of your 2 loses have 2 losses each because you cut your losses short before those series ended. But most times those 2 losses would mean you are down 3 or 4 wagers not 1.
and
if it is a true chase system then you would be increasing your wager after a loss to cover the previous loss. Meaning if you lose a 3 game series you would be out 1u, 2u, 4u for a total of 7u. And that's if it is at even money for all 3 games. If the odds were -130 all three games then 1.3u, 3u, 7u for a total of 11.3u. Gets much much worse for 4 game series.
At even money for all 3 games of the series you need to win 7 series wagers to cover 1 series loss.
At -130 odds for all 3 games of the series you would need to win 11 series wagers to cover 1 series loss.
This is why I stopped playing this type of chase system. You can win for weeks straight then in one weekend lose it all if 2 teams get swept.

Sort of, normally when I pick my series I start game 1 to win $100.
If that loses, in game 2 I bet to win my money back from game 1 + $50.
So my plus money for the series decreases by a half the more games they go without a win.

Good luck to you.
Yes you are correct my 30 wins means that the team won a game in a 3 game set, and once they won the series ended. And the 2 loses were both from teams that were the dogs in all three games (one of them was a 4 game set though) of the series, but I ended them after the 2nd game.
I started out looking at dogs through the series price lines when I first this chase, but I believe I have tweaked it for the best since then.

By the way just to let everyone konw, this is my very first year betting MLB.
From opening day til the end of May, did do so hot (up and down). But I saw the other chase systems out there, and throught I would create my own to see how it goes!

Congrats on ur success using this style of wagering. "Chasing" is a general term that can be taken the wrong way. What's great about is there are so many ways to make it your own and jcs has found his nitch! Looking forward to ur plays

how do you go about football season? Do you chase week to week? or what
That would be the only way to do it. Can't miss a game from a team when you're doing a chase system. But, have to have stop-loss implemented like jcs is doing - you want to limit your losses because an 0-3 can hurt when the team is a favorite each game.
Make sure you have at least 100 units. Also, 0-3 = 1+2+4u = 7u if underdog all 3 games. If you win 5 series, that's 5 units. So, you have to have a pretty good winrate to profit at this. 30-2 will do it, but imagine losing 3 series in a row. You need to have a lot of units if you do a chase system.
