Well ladies and gents these are the glory days of gamblin' and I love it. Although we each know what goes up must come down (not all the way) but by the fuck I'm gonna stay here as long as I can!!!!
Picks will be posted later when I get some lines but early lean is the Cards again.....Zito just doesn't strike me as the arm you want on the hill in a do or die match? We'll see?

Got caught short staffed and now gotta get my hands dirty again , gotta do some labour for the rest of the day and early evening but my bet is placed.
Looking from a stand point of the Giants , they bump Zito out of a crucial game to put in Lincecum. A man who hadn't started for 3 weeks because he had mechanical issues and basically say, "hey bud we need this game, bail us out"......Zito was not an option for them? Or they just didn't feel confident enough to trust him? What ever the reason,he should have started the game on a short leash and Lincecum ready to bail him out from the pen for long relief like he had done all post season and been excellent at it. Instead you failed to get what you hoped for to be a miracle start from Lincecum based on the prior season , now you have a guy who wasn't good enough for Game 4 in Zito. Facing now an even more crucial game and your best long relief guy (Lincecum) throughout the post season is unavailable should he get into early trouble........the Cardinals smell blood and although Lynn hasn't been exactly unhittable, I expect a good enough performance against these cold sticks to allow the Redbirds to pull out the win......I see a rested bullpen for the Cardinals ready to go at the drop of a hat should Lynn be in trouble and with the "off" day tomorrow Matheny won't hesitate to go there. Gimme the Cards.
