I really like mariners if they can get the run support, which they should with Williams on the hill for Angels..
BOL
Liking the Mariners in this one as well. It's tough backing a team that is on a current three game home slide but loving the lefty vs. the Angels here. Run support is never a given when referring to the Mariners even with Williams on the mound, but he has been hittable it recent starts and the Mariners are putting up a good amount of runs lately. I'll dig deeper later today and see what I can come up with.

Padres +104 - Pretty much an automatic disqualifier here as I could never hope for a loss from my own team. Go Giants!
your first mistake as "trying" to be a well known capper...your a HOMER!....doesnt matter if its your team or anyones team...as long as the other team has a very good chance of winning or a mismatch then you play it...as long as there is money to be made...fading your giants were money the past week for everyone! BOL
as to your leans....personally i would fade them all...dont like one of them! BOL once again!

Should a good enough spot present itself to fade my Giants within this "system", I will not mind doing so. This definitely is not one, either was yesterday. Thanks for the advice.

Good luck today Mack
i completely agree with you on this one....i will be hammering the garbage out of the giants and the runline...if i hit both GREAT...if i dont...i wont be mad because this is a very good spot for the giants right here to get some momentum going vs a pitcher making his first start of the year...so in other words as you would say...GO GIANTS!!!

like the miami and also seattle, can't back williams
This Miami line screams value at me. Boy is it tough to fade a guy like Strasburg though. The Nationals do however own the leagues worst batting average as an away team, a .216 mark. Eovaldi has thrown four quality starts in his four starts this season. Miami is 7-3 in their last 10 home games. Will be interesting to see if Mathis is catching for the Marlins as they are 16-10 when he's putting down the signs behind home plate. They're even better when he's doing so at home, posting a 12-3 record.

Very sharp play underdog, Today, I believe that you will play Seattle. I still wait for your analysis and ur opinion on this game.
Are you spying on me? I literally just locked this one in. Mad at myself for not grabbing it last night when I could have had it for +110 but at the +101 I got, this still fits what I'm doing here. Write up coming soon.

Mariners (Saunders) +101 -Seattle enters this contest having lost three in a row at home versus Boston, arguably the best team in all of baseball. The lack of offense wasn't an issue for them as they plated 8, 4, and 7 runs respectively in the three losses. July has actually seen the Mariners bats come alive. Their batting average of .286 and 58 runs scored in July are both good for 6th in the league. Their July OBP and RBI of .350 and 56 both rank 5th. They've also belted 16 home runs in just 10 July games, good for 2nd only behind Detroit. I have no chance but to continue to fade this Angels team vs. left handed pitching. They're just 9-13 vs. left handed starters this season and their .239 average vs. southpaws ranks 21st in the league. I expect the Mariners to get to Williams in this one as he owns 4.87 ERA as a starter this season. The beginning of July has been a scary one for Williams. In two starts he has gone just 4 and 2/3 innings combined, giving up 11 hits, and allowing 11 earned. Having won his last two starts vs. Cincinnati and Texas, both on the road, "Safeco Joe" returns home where he has posted 6 quality starts in 8 attempts for the Mariners. Saunders owns a 10-3 record with a 2.80 ERA in 17 career starts at Safeco Field. I'll roll the dice on the hotter offense and the better hurler at plus money in this one.

Cubs (Villanueva) - I would be hard pressed to back a Cardinals team that owns a 26-8 record after a loss this season. Pitching match ups appear even in this one with Kelly and Villanueva. I can't imagine either pitcher doing well and throwing deep into this game. Should we see a shootout, the clear advantage is with the Cardinals offense. Both of these bullpens are nothing to write home about but the Cardinals hold the edge in the pen as well. This will prove to be a tough series for the Cardinals as they lost yesterday and will face Garza and Wood over the weekend. I can't imagine the Cubs sweeping this series, I think the Cardinals best chance at salvaging a win comes today.

Marlins (Eovaldi) - Boy would it be hard to fade Strasburg and the Nationals in this one, especially following their 3-1 loss last night. I like the way Eovaldi has thrown in his four starts this season as he has record four quality. But "ownage is ownage" and the Nationals have just that over the Marlins this season taking 5 of the 6 versus the two. I like the Marlins chances tomorrow with Fernandez going against Haren. I do not see the Nationals losing three in a row with the loss last night, tonight, and losing tomorrow. Tonight's Marlins lineup also features Brantly behind the plate, not Mathis.
