2009 MLB: +$4000 exactly. On a scale of $100-$300.
Too bad we can't fetch real old posts anymore because i made a thread for this game way back in October of 2009. The initial lean was the Red Sox until someone told me you don't want to fade the Yankees in a Sunday night game. Anyways, nearly a half year later, i still like the home team.
I find it funny that Carsten Charles is garnering "value" in this opener. I guess the books are serious about these pitchers' April splits.
Prediction: game will be tied until Joba comes in and the Red Sox breaks it wide open.
Here we go, lift-off:
345/300 Boston Red Sox -115
All wagers remain on a scale of $100-$300 until the end of the NBA season. Then i will switch to a larger scale, to be decided.
P.S. People really need to stop talking about the ills of laying juice and playing faves in baseball. Please, who's dumb enough to be betting faves all the time? I think we get it by now. So, stop it with the "you'll go broke betting on Johan Santana throughout the season" remarks. Seriously, who's dumb enough to bet on all of Johan Santana's starts?
