The strikeforce committee is throwing Fedor a softball in Rd 1. They dont want him out in Rd 1 of this tournament.
Silva is a good fighter, but he's SLOW as hell, doesnt move his head and will stand right in front of Fedor.
Fedor will have free cracks at his huge head, and be able to outmanuever him for a submission as well.
How does Silva win the fight? Well his only chance is to take Fedor down and lay on him for 3 rds, but even doing that he stands the likelihood of getting subbed from the bottom.
Can't see a logical path to victory for Silva here. He's not going to outstrike Fedor. Fedor moves his head and uses angles. Silva does neither.

I will probably regret not playing him inside but him winning will do the job for me. Del Rosario needs to do his job also. Johnson is pretty much a better version of Kimbo. Let's cash tonight guys. Fitch and Penn isn't too far away.

soooo you can say what if's all day but in the end he still lost. dont make it more then a bet...im sure fedor wanted to win himself and then try and beat overeem and restore his legacy.

Would just one time people check out stuff before opening their mouths?
Fedor won rd 1 on the scorecards and only 1 judge out of 3 gave Silva a 10-8 rd in rd 2 so if Fedor had won rd 3 he would have won a decision.
On another note I had no problem with the fight being stopped, his eye was bad

Koscheck was behind 4-0 with no hope for a knockout.
Fedor just needed to win 1 round to win the fight.
You're wrong.
heres the biggest difference---
if fedor takes a pounding again in his eye like he did in round 2, he has a VERY good chance of going blind/losing that eye somehow
if koscheck goes to the 5th round with gsp, he has a 100% chance of being able to see after the fight, gsp is never going to do the same damage that bigfoot did to fedor in that 2nd round
however, it shows a retarded amount of heart that fedor was up and ready to go for round 3 and looked fresh as a daisy (that just took a huge ass whoopin') but he was ready.....

and silva did win the round 10 - 8 ... did you watch the fight ?????
also big thing in your comment, so IF fedor had won rd 3...
big if figuring he just got dominated and his nose was broken.
you dont think silva would have shot in for a take down just like he did second round ?
I didnt say he would have won rd 3 , in fact I think he would have lost it and the fight I'm just saying it was possible for him to win a decision going into the 3rd round
