What are some of the things you've purchased over your lifetime that have proved to be outstanding? Not necessarily money makers, but things you've enjoyed and are very happy you acquired?
One of my favorites is a Howard Miller Grandfather Clock. Very much enjoyment. It's a centerpiece of my home, kids learned to tell time, and it was simply one of the best purchases I've made in my lifetime.
Also bought an 89 Mercedes 300SE in 97 from the original owner and it is still running strong at 202K. Love this car!

I have an 84 500 SL just like the one Sharron Stone smashes up in Casino when she's all drugged up and pissed off at Robert DeNiro. Except mine is black. Has about 160k on it but runs like a beauty. Bought it several years ago and have loved it ever since

Computers over the years without a doubt ; 20- 30 years ago it was worth it for writing term papers n for studies. Now i can do everything from downloading the latest movies, latest software (all my cracked software easily surpasses the value of my computer a long time ago), games, tons of porn, PPV events especially fights, books ...etc ... and a whole lot of fuckin around . I have a lot of other things i could name but nothing really pays back for itself the way a good computer does.

My Garmin. I do a shitload of driving for work & to just be able to plug in an address & get to where I need to go quickly & without any worries is the best. Best money I ever spent.
