W. Mich -4.5. Watch out for the Broncos. I haven't seen Georgia Southern. I guess they had a 9-3 season after moving up to Div1. A last year. I think they are going to get a wakeup call from an solid MAC team.

Western Michigan gave a good accounting of themselves against MSU. Question is whether Sparty was looking ahead to the Oregon game? Both of these coaches have excellent records. Reports are out that GS has line problems, on both sides of the ball. In all fairness, they were totally destroyed against a very good W. Virginia team on the road. However, they remain undefeated at home! In the meantime, the Broncos have only beaten lowly Miami(Ohio) as road favorites.

GSU lost a lot on the line and looked weak last game against WVU. WM threw the ball well last week and GSU has never been good against a passing team (they never practice against a good QB or receivers. My gut tells me WMU but GS should be angry and are tough at home. No play for me, but a prediction that Western will have a field day throwing the ball. Expecting a falloff for GS this year due to what they lost from last year's team.

Sorry, that statement is just absolutely false. GS has been a giant killer ever since they began football in the 80s. Spreads are usually placed on 1AA teams so you don't see their history. In a addition to their eight national championships, they were runner up a coupe of times. They beat Florida in the Swamp 2 years ago, and had Ga Tech and NC State down with less than a minute to go last season. They have scared the hell out of others, they even had over 300 yards rushing against that Alabama team that beat ND 30+ points in the NC game in 2012.
As we said, the OL lost some starters from last year and the QB was suspended last week against WVA, so they aren't up to their usual standards. Phil Steele has them as his upset pick of the week today against W.Michigan. I am still not sold on them for 2015 but don't underestimate them, they moved up in class last year and won their conference with an unbeaten record the first year. Don't think I have ever seen that before. No bet for me, but I will keep am eye on them, they have been excellent underdogs their entire history.
