Tell the Bulldogs to get ready for the LSU Tigers, because Kentucky puts a stop to Tennessee's SEC title dreams. Kentucky's offense will prove to be too much and Tennessee's will lay and egg on the road. Kentucky puts this game in the books early.

Kentucky 35 Tennessee 7
NOT SO FAST!!!! Coming from a UT fan that told everyone to pound Vandy last week...i gotta say this is the time to lay the wood on the Vols...UK going to be down and beat up after recent loss to UGA and I think Tennessee can match them point for point...
Vols win 41-30....
Then they're headed to the DAWGS own backyard to end LSU title hopes ::::

In reality though, Kentucky is about as flat as anything in the SEC right now. I expected the offense to wake up last week and was VERY wrong. As much as I would love to see UT go home with a big loss, I see a very close game and it coming down to the defense!! UK at home has been a different team and this week will be no exception. The seniors for UK feel they have more to play for than UT does and will pull it out in the end. Little is expected to be closer to 100% and all of UKs injured from last week are expected to be at full contact today. The line of UK -3, is very tough but take the home team and lets see a good SEC East school play LSU instead of watching LSU pound the hapless rocky top title wanabees. UK 38-34.

Not that this quote needs any reply...but what more do they have to play for??? The peach bowl??? Come on' UT know what rides on this game...

Coverditty still upset that UK beat your guys last year? You have never given UK any chance in any or you post or did I miss something? I think this game is a pick-em could go either way. I like the cats though, guess I'm an idiot too.

Ive only posted on UK twice, once against UGA..which I didn't think they stood a chance, and all I've said about this game is that Tennessee will be able to match them point for point.
The quote i referred to earlier was when the guy said UK has more to play for than UT....how can that be legitimate when if you guys win you will still finish 4th in the east and if we win we get to play for the SEC championship.
Trust me I've been able to peg UT pretty well this year...and I do believe that you guys will be able to put up a number on us...I just believe that UT can match the points and hopefully get a few Xtra stops to put us ahead.

Sorry thought you were a GA fan. I am well aware of our losing streak to the Vols. Good luck Sat. Personally I'm hoping to send fat phil back to the slums of Tenn with a loss. I cannot stand losing to them anymore.

Kentucky is really digging in for this one, and has a good chance to beat a very average TN team which plays poorly on the road. What worries me is the recent OL play for Kentucky which has failed to open up the running game despite Little's return, and has not given Woodson a chance to throw to some very talented receivers. On the plus side, the KY defense is playing much better than expected, and may provide enough cover.
Ainge is very good when he has time to throwm but is not bad, but awful, under pressure. TN has done a good job protecting him this year, so KY will have to settle for just getting him to hurry. Their defensive backs are solid, so I think they control the TN passing game enough to outscore them.
I like the motivation that KY has to stop the streak at home. It would be a shame for them to slip to a minor bowl after the start they had, and knocking LSU out of the top spot last month. I haven'ty decided to bet this one yet, but if I do it will be to take Kentucky and give the 2-3 points. Should be a close one, and a fun one to watch. KY wins 27-23.

The UK seniors have "the streak" to play for. They have accomplished so much for UK Football in their 4-5 years and now all they want to do is beat the Vols. Whether or not they can, is another question!! I will take UK -2.5 and pass on the o/u of 63.5 in case UKs OL does not show up and Ainge has too much time.

Only one player in this game scares me...Woodyard. If he's all over the
place I think UK will feed off of that energy and could blow the doors
off....however...if he's contained...I believe points will come in
bunches!!!!

Tenn to cover. Better team right now. Kentucky overachieved and came back to reality when they played any real team. 2-4 SU in their last 6 games vs 5-1 Tenn.
Take the Vols and RUN HARD with this spread! This is a gift!

anyone have any objective thoughts on how UT plays with a lot on the line? i do know they seem to play very well when everyone counts them out, and totally suck when everyone expects them to win... but not sure about this situation... UT playing to get to the SEC title game... UK playing to ruin their season...
if this game meant nothing, i would be inclined to take Tennessee... the better team... but i might just have to play it safe and bet the Over... seems like a shootout in the making...

Cover Ditty thanks for taking one for the team. I am a UT fan, not connected to school, so here is some "unbiased" insight. Check Ainge's QB rating, he is solid, UK has swiss cheese for defense, so points won't be the problem. Given all of UT's defensive questions, one thing is certain, against one dimensional teams, they fare pretty well (Arkansas ring a bell)
Lot of past player's support in Knoxville papers for UT to get off of Phil's back. Big Orange has the horses and win by TD or more today. UK has fallen back to earth.

Tennesse will have no trouble winning this one. Kentucky is a very
suspect team with weak pass defense and we all know ainge can sling it.
Bow to my greatness
