Everyone should be careful this week about laying heavy pts in bad spots and laying pts on the road in conference games . In October is when lines get very sharp and we seperate the men from the boys. One of my friends last week almost hit every single play he made except GT. He had a ton of teams laying DD pts on the road like Texas, Cinci and public plays like Clemson. Vegas won't let that happen again which is why the lines are so high this week.
I would be very scared with Boise -21 on road (havent covered in two weeks), WV -19.5, GT -14, SC -21, FSU -13 on road, Clem -20.5, OK State -31, Mich -7.5 (first road game), Texas A&M (first road game), Baylor -15 (thats a lot of pts with no defense), Syracuse -10.5 (where is the motivation for this meaningless OOC game in New Orleans), Bama -29 (lack of motivation)

Sportsbetting.com opens futures up every Thursday for games for the rest of the season. They leave the futures open during the Saturday games until all the games are over. When Brantley went down I immediately laid a max play of $500 on LSU during the FLA-Bama game.

Great info from Linde in Sizzle's thread: "I got curious, and did some research for anyone who needs hard evidence...
From '08-'11, MAC teams who won their previous game outright as road dogs are just 2-10 ATS when a home fave in their next game, and 4-19 ATS at home regardless of spread (fave or dog)"

Atleast I got the backdoor in the Texas Tech game which saved my ass from a 1-5 week. The one thing I learned this week is to stay away from these awful conference games (MAC, Sunbelt, and Mountain West). These teams can't even cover when in a great situation (Wyoming, BG, and Eastern Michigan). I just can't pick these conferences because I don't know the players or teams.
Still up 19.26 units this year and 18-9 on the year so I am not complaining.
Looking forward to Texas A&M next week at home vs Baylor who sucks on the road and doesn't play defense and MSU at home against Michigan. This is the Spartans Super Bowl every year. They have won 3 years in a row vs Michigan and we will get great value since Michigan won by 18 this week on the road. I am a huge Michigan fan and we are the worst 6-0 team I have ever seen. Robinson kills us with stupid throws every week and the defense is still very leaky. MSU is also the best team Michigan has faced all year in a tough situation.
