Hawaii:
Hawaii, like always has a great passing game with Greg Alexander who is averaging over 400 yards per game. However, so far this year they have yet to play anyone with a pass defense in the top 100 so these numbers could be slightly misleading.
Hawaii has quite a few injuries as well in this game as one of their starting offensive linemen will be out and they could possibly be missing 2 defensive linemen, a linebacker, and a cornerback.
Hawaii had a painful lost last time out against UNLV as they lost in the last minute of game. This loss was just 11 days ago and after they lost they flew back out to Hawaii and now back across 5 different time zones.
Hawaii’s defense is somewhat shaky against the pass and hasn’t looked real well against the run yet either. Missing players on the d-line could really hurt them both in the passing and running game tonight.
Louisiana Tech:
Louisiana Tech comes into this game 1-2 and needing a win against a FCS team to start building some confidence for the year. Their offense has been somewhat struggling this year to say the least, but they have played a little stiffer competition than Hawaii as they have faced Auburn and Navy. Like Hawaii, at least so far this season, Louisiana Tech has been more of a passing team than a running team.
As bad as the injuries look for Hawaii they look the exact opposite for the Bulldogs as they have had no one injured so far this year.
Louisiana Tech’s defense is nothing to be desired for as they have looked bad so far giving up more than 400 yards of offense a game and allowing over 27 points per game. They have been getting killed on the ground and looked good in the secondary but that should be looked at with a grain of salt as Navy rarely passes out of their triple option formation.
Summary:
This game looks to be a shootout on paper as both defenses look weak.
Hawaii strengths: pass offense and run defense
Hawaii weaknesses: rush offense and pass defense
Louisiana Tech strengths: pass offense and pass defense
Louisiana Tech weaknesses: run offense and run defense

Nice night last night and hopefully it continues today...
Early Morning Plays:
Michigan State -3.5 2 units
Michigan is overrated....
Arkansas State +21 2 units
Letdown spot for Iowa and good matchup for the Redwolves
Alabama -16.5 2 units
Very fishy line...possible look ahead game for Alabama but I still think they finish the deal
