@WahooS
looks like Cuse has a capable QB for once. Other than that, I feel like that’s been the biggest down fall of this team under Dino. Defense is good (for being Syracuse) and now having this transfer as a QB. They could be alright. I took them on Saturday at Noon!

I usually am spot on with Joe... I'm not sure his thoughts, but this has the feeling of a typical let down game. All the hype is there, and all the talk about big bowl games, a bunch of new recruits visiting the dome for the game. I would love nothing more than s huge win. But, I've been down this road before. I think the moment might be too much for the Cuse.
I wouldn't touch either side in this one. I do love the first half under in this game though. Both teams typically play more conservative in the first half. Most of the cuse games that go over start off slow and build in the 2nd.

This game has my brain in a pretzel. IMO, it’s strength vs strength…Purdue’s passing game vs Cuse’s secondary. O’Connell is one of the best QBs in the country that no one talks about. Cuse has one of the best secondaries in the ACC, especially their starting two DBs. Problem is Cuse pass rush isn’t that great and in order to stop a good QB you need to pressure/sack him and can’t rely on secondary to bail you out every play…esp with how often Purdue throws it. If Cuse can’t make O’Connell uncomfortable they will lose. Cuse offense has improved but they will not be able to win a shoot out.

Western Kentucky +7.0
Western Kentucky @ Indiana
The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers were a team I was looking to fade heading into this season after losing Bailey Zappe to the NFL and offensive coordinator Zack Kittley to Texas Tech. However, instead of starting Jarret Doege at quarterback, the Hilltoppers opted to go with Division II transfer Austin Reed before their first game, and the results have been promising. While he isn’t Zappe, Reed does have 7 touchdowns through 2 games while leading an offense that is averaging nearly 7 yards per play this season. The main reason I like backing Western Kentucky this week is due to the spot and decided advantage the Hilltoppers should have on the perimeter. For one, Indiana has a major look-ahead spot on deck, with a date at Cincinnati set for next week. This is a rare nonconference revenge game for the Hoosiers, as the Bearcats knocked off Tom Allen’s group in their building a season ago. On the other side, the Hilltoppers are coming off a bye week to rest and recuperate, and they shouldn’t be looking ahead to lowly FIU next week.
While the new pieces have fit pretty nicely for Western Kentucky, the same can’t be said for the Hoosiers. Indiana brought in over a dozen new players from the transfer portal, including quarterback Connor Bazelak from Missouri. In the season opener, the Hoosiers averaged just 4.6 yards per play against Illinois and less than 1.5 yards per rush. Things didn’t get better in Week 2, as Indiana trailed 10-0 to Idaho — a middling FCS opponent — before rallying to knock off the Vandals. Even more concerning through 2 games has been the Hoosiers’ poor play in the secondary, as they allowed Idaho to throw for 9 yards per attempt and 3 touchdowns. This offense is clearly a work in progress, while the defense has underwhelmed thus far. This meeting was decided by 2 points last season, and that was before Indiana lost its quarterback, plus a ton of pieces on defense. Look for Reed and the Hilltoppers to see consistent success in the passing game, and don’t be surprised if Western Kentucky pulls the outright upset.
Western Kentucky +7 available at time of publishing. Playable to +3.5.

Should be fun Wahoo

Truth: Got Indiana ML with Under 76.5 USC with Rutgers -16.5 as keys on local parlay tickets at $5 a pop with 2 other soccer games and about 20 different selections (they had to change the USC total because of too many players and they dropped to UNDER 69.5 last night but my tickets were punched a couple days ago hehe)
My tickets are paying between $110 - $250 each if I hit one of them! (Cost $100) ....they are hedges for me and $$ in pocket
Lets get a 30-24 score for Indiana or 31-24 since I have the winning margin bet on Indiana to win by 7 - 12 pts
