I get in a hole when doing pars early. I find I have success when I build my bankroll throughout the weekend by playing strong individual plays, then loading up on a particular game. Example: I played all weekend, built my # to $1080. Dropped a 200 par on Dallas/Over and 200 on each of those. Up to $1980. Will drop another par on MNF.
If I don't get ahead, I don't do the pars. Would rather lose a little one week, and win big the next than lose so much one week I don't have anything left to play with the next.

As a general rule parlays and teasers can cause the following results
Teasers are known in some circles as the crack cocaine of gambling so take heed
Also , reduce volume of games played - I'm often the victim of the same trap - end up with 15-20 games a week - keep accurate records you may find a reduction in volume may lead to an increase in profits

Don't do parlays, teasers, or o/u's and it'll be difficult to go less than 50%. I know 50 isn't winning but it's a good start. I think my last teaser was the OSU/Ark bowl game: Terrell Pryor vs. Ryan Mallet.
