Clearly I think the Vols will cover , but let’s go legend. I have tuned in faithfully to the Dan Mullen shit show the past five seasons. I watch every episode and after a while you notice certain patterns in the way the episodes are arranged. This is a familiar set up I have seen this week. If you don’t know anything about the Mullen shit show just know, if it’s a big game , he will get his cast up , they will put on a good show, and garner well deserved rave reviews. What most people don’t see is the episode after “the episode”. This is the epitome of a let down game for them. Dan Mullen teams for better or for worse play to level of their competition. I watched them last year with that loaded offense struggle to put teams away that shouldn’t have been in a game with them funny thing is one of those games last year was vs Tennessee. Now that Tennessee team last year was god awful, no qb, no scheme, players quitting , coaches fired just and all around dumpster fire.... and they lost by 12?! Granted one of those was a back door td but still Florida never put them completely away. And they played a good game! Trask had 450 passing no picks Kyle pitts balled out and with all that talent Florida had last year they still involved in a semi competitive game. Tennessee is far better than last year , and this just smells like a game that they will get up for. Florida just had their game of the year and their belly is full from their win over Alabama (they for sure counted as a moral victory). I don’t care what Emory Jones did last week. That was the exception and I’m actually glad that happened because it gave him a false sense of hope. He still has trouble reading defenses and he still is turn over prone. This is the game Florida gets exposed. 2bits.....4bits

Liked the way the Vols didn't quit against Pitt, but again , it was Pitt. Vols couldn't keep them from scoring, still having a tough time throwing accurately downfield more that 20 yards, still questionable at QB, and haven't won in Gainesville since 2003. Think I'd save my money on the ML, I question whether Vols can win by 3 TD's, Florida pretty physical team.

Vols have four interceptions with 8 sacks and Florida has thrown 5. Flordia averages 7.6 yards per carry. Key to the game for Tennessee. 1) Stop run game, forcing Florida to throw the ball 2) Sack QB and pressure throws 3) Get two interceptions and convert to touchdowns 3) Get a special teams play. If they can do those things, they will win. So I absolutely think they have a 20% shot at this. I'm putting $20 on the ML and trying to make a benjamin. But it is unlikely. As you said, it just feels fatefully possible.
