I am, admittedly, a Lurker on this site. Just looking for Solid Info, not college dudes shouting "Let's Get dat Ca$h, BRO!".
Anyways. I haven't found one post on Houston QB situation. From what I understand top 2 are OUT and they now have a freshman starting. Any thoughts on this and how it affects this weekend/ rest of season? Thanks and Good Luck.

Just remember the Name Terrance Broadway. Gonna be hearing about him alot the next 4 yrs.
Four Star dual threat QB from Louisiana. He was offered a scholarship to be Alabama's next QB before he got injured his junior yr in high school.
He is going to add ANOTHER weapon to Houston's already explosive offense. When the defense is so spread out covering all the different passing formations the Coogs throw at them, this kid is going to exploit all the open lanes running the ball similar to what you are seeing with the freshman QB from nebraska.
Everyone in Htwn is actually pumped about what is about to go down with the Coogs.

He might end up having a great 4 year college career in Houston but as far as gambling goes im only interested as to whether he is going to be ready this weekend against Tulane. Thats a pretty high number they are laying with a kid making his first start.

Coach says he knows the whole playbook and will able to go all out Sat. Has the green light to take off running as much as he likes. Do not see them punting this week. Defense is alot better at home and with alot of people doubting the team now, look for them to make a statement to the rest of the C-USA teams.

The way Broadway came in and moved the offense down the field against UCLA gives me reason to think UH will remain explosive. Broadway may be a freshman, but he's built like a senior. UH will romp Tulane like they do every yr.

Yes he looked good in 4th quarter garbage time with his team down 31-3. I doubt UCLA had any kind of gameplan to defend an obscure 4th string QB with his kind of mobility.

You just lost your record-setting Heisman candidate senior QB for the year, and "Htwn" is pumped because a 4th string true freshman made a few nice throws in garbage time?

damn good question....assuming he can play AT ALL...> and it looks like he can.....history tells us it (might) play out like this .... 1st game ?..."play on" Cougars......as teammates step up their game to make up for loss....opponent maybe gains false confidence >> Tulane get's their ass kicked.... 2nd game ?....(Miss St.....who Cougs beat last year).....FADE......as reality sets in
small wager only.....but should work...DON'T play Tulane...........kick ass bro
meanwhile..... I crawl like a viper Through these suburban streets Make love to these women Languid and bittersweet I'll rise when the sun goes down Cover every game in town A world of my own I'll make it my home sweet home
The impediment to action advances action - what stands in the way becomes the way.

Tonight when I chase the dragon The water will change to cherry wine And the silver will turn to gold Time out of mind
* good strategy here might be to wait till halftime... I would expect a slow start from Cougs /strong one from Wave.....Cougs roll in 2H....as they often do

Keenum is a great kid and a nice player but let that confuse you here
Houston runs a system and nearly any solid quarterback would be effective in this system, Keenum often times tries to fit passes in where he shouldn't and he makes alot of mistakes that don't get exposed in Conference USA, he will have alot of work to do if he plans to play in the NFL
Houston will lose a little since Keenum had so much experience but that offense will still put up points in conference play
