I wouldnt be surprised at all if Tech reels off the standard 7 wins again this year. Maybe 6. Nesbitt is a helluva helluva helluva athlete at qb. The backs are strong as tehy seem to be each year at tech. The WRs are decent, the d-line is tough, and Paul Johnson should bring a new attitude to the ATL. I'm not calling for them to even compete for the ACC title, but I wouldn't write them off completely. I mean reggie ball and taylor bennett were so pedestrian, this team could seriously be better without THAT much effort or addition.

Nice allusion, but the best part of the song is "If I had a son, sir, I tell you what he'd do; he'd yell, 'To hell with Georgia!' like his daddy used to do."
Thank God I went to law school when I did, and the only Clemson-UGA game while I was at UGA was a 34-3 Clemson rout. About the only good thing that redneck Hatfield did in his 4 years was win that game and go for two up 25-3 'cuz "you gotta to get multiples of eight"!

Even with really good coaches, the first season is always a rough one as they install their offense. Just look at Saban @ LSU and Alabama, Holz @ ND and SCAR, June Jones @ Hawaii, Richt @ Georgia, Stoops @ Oklahoma... and the list goes on.

CAPPA i think you bring up a great point.....except for that 7 STRAIGHT wins < that you wisely backed off of....you're right...
ga tech is an OBVIOUS team to fade ...huge LOSSES ( tenuta....7/10 tacklers...OL....even great p/k)...POINT is don't think anyone knows what johnson's O is gonna look like < HUGE coaching upgrade..esp in game...
where will you FADE ga tech??
road dog @ bc and va tech < better not
small home fav v miss st < who has lsu on deck < better not
RD at clemson < bowden 29-39 as fav....
virg ... fla...and mia gonna come in and spank em at home ??
at ga and unc not good but ?
POINT HERE is may be wise to remove ga tech from auto fade list....to>> sit back and see what happens.... list
strong start wouldn/t surprise me at all>> as teams figure out O later in year..... maybe fade late ......
The impediment to action advances action - what stands in the way becomes the way.
