WahooS - Nevada has dominated this series the past 5 meetings winning by 14,45,22,8,and 10, 2 of those were on the Islands including that 45 point win as a 7 point favorite in 2012, thats good for a 4-0-1 or 4-1 ATS mark depending where you got the 2011 game at. Nevada has been good at taking care of the rock so far putting up a +5 in the turnover battle, while Hawai'i is again on the wrong end putting up a -5. I think the public sees the travel Nevada has/had to do going to West Lafayette and now the Islands and automatically likes the home team with rest in this spot, However Hawai'i is 0-5 ATS last 5 games with rest and this is the only time all season they are home for more than a week as the rest of their schedule is Road/Home...etc their last 8 games. Hawai'i's defense is really bad, and i know numbers can be skewed by playing cal and michigan but they were beat up by UT Martin (which is a middle tier FCS school) and Zona with the back up QB.....The Warriors did score a couple TDs in the 4th to get the cover but that game was a rout. i do think Hawai'i will be able to run some on the Pack that scares me some, but i think Nevada will get up on the Warriors and make them throw more than they should.

I know funny things happen in the Islands, and UNR has a tough trip coming from Purdue last week, but they're two touchdowns better at least on a neutral field. UH is basically an FCS program at this point. Need to find someone out there to put some money into the program. Overall talent level just not there anymore.
