My Top 5
1. Nick Saban - The snake, the lair, the thief, the whatever it takes to win football games. The guy is a no non sense football coach. I like the fact he is one of the few left who believes in three things. Running the football, Stopping the run and playing solid special teams.
2. Chris Peterson - You want to talk about the other sides night mare? This is the guy, this is the one guy other coaches truly fear. I think from getting his kids ready there are none better. Why? Cause he can do it with your 3rd string team. I think if he decides to leave Boise one day he will excel in anything he does.
3. Gary Patterson - Look, if you guys don't think this guy is a genius then you simply don't understand football....simple as that. I know he is struggling a little this year. I don't care, the guy is the best of the best and if schools like Texas A&M and Ohio S.T were smart institutions they would lay a blank check on his desk and say.......fill in the blank.
4. Chip Kelly - I know most of you don't like this pick here at #4, but hey... the guy is the truth and is truly a innovator in today's game. He will figure out and adapt how to play in the big games, no doubt in my mind. The guy did take Auburn all the way to the last few seconds of the game last year and very well could have won it. Just be patient with this guy, he's a good one.
5. Paul Johnson - Look before you slow knuckleheads start to laugh, wait just a minute. This guy IMO is among the 3 greatest play callers college football has EVER seen. The guy needs no play chart, he needs no head gear, he needs nobody. He is a machine. I think he is a great guy and is doing great things at G.T.
BTW..... all you LSU fans, I ranked the mad hatter 117th.

Honorable mention : Mike the mad genius Leach. It's a damn shame the best offensive passing mind the game has ever seen doesn't have a job.
