no way FSU defense plays that bad 2nd half, hopefully less penalties although the IQ of this team is south of 6th grade plus the coach isn't Belichick...but there's no value in taking Miss St IMO..you need to bet on what will happen NOT on what just did

This is true, but Mississippi is beating the crap out of them up front.
FSU is going to continue to get penalized. Pretty shocked how bad they look.
I think we will find out with this first drive if they have a chance to make it a game.

I had great day. I was wrong here. No need to point it out. I am only human too.
It's not that you're wrong it's the common belief you espoused that Vegas sat there and said let's make people react! Hopefully you and thousands others will finally realize they don't have interest or time for that crap! They just want their juice...
I said before the half started above no way a top ranked team would play that bad again, especially their Defense which was the worst I've ever seen FSU play...you have to handicap on what should happen not what has..
Is Texas really that good? No, don't take them this week. Is LSU that bad, hell no, probably a good bet this week. Same with USC...

Good points. However, my best success has come by finding out what Vegas is cooking! They are setting these lines for a reason. To mess with your head. You better believe it! Tonight at half they wanted you to believe Ole Miss was great deal and you were given four points.... Trap !

Didn't play the 2nd half line but I bet FSU ML for the game at halftime...it was +425. Bailed me out of my ridiculous Notre Dame bet Sunday night.
This is a perfect example of what I think is one of the hardest things for bettors to wrap their heads around, especially the dudes that think Vegas is some omniscient boogey man out to get them. It happens while betting in any sport but the thing is, when you place a bet on anything other than a team to just win the game, such as the score or spread, or only some partition of a game (i.e.. 2nd half), you are placing a bet on something that is fundamentally different than what the team you are betting on is trying to do. The only thing a team is trying to do is to win the game! Not win by 20+ pts. (though this would be nice, and is inevitable in some cases), not to just win the 2nd half, and most certainly not to lose but to keep it within a certain point range.
Take last night for example...2nd half line is Ole Miss +4 after they just dominated FSU in the 1st half. People think OMG this is too good to be true and/or that Vegas is now playing mind tricks on everybody. Obviously none of this ended up mattering because Ole Miss got absolutely throttled in the 2nd half, but going into the 2nd half before any of that played out, Ole Miss could have easily won the game without giving two sh*ts about whether or not they were within 4 points for the half.
When you are betting on something that is different than what the team is actually trying to accomplish, is when things like coaching decisions or strategic decisions start to get questioned and look suspect because it doesn't fit in to what you need to happen to win your bet. This is what gives off the perception of "fixes" or whatever.
