Are your grades based off performance for this year? Don't know a lot about either team, but Marshall has had a tough beginning to their season. Plus they are 0-fer on the year, don't see that first win tonight?

TopDaddy24 - Thx for the news. I'm checking it out now.
Hmmm, i have to take a closer look at the Memphis roster because Hankins is questionable.
Memphis will probably start Will Hudgens first. Hudgens will suck and then they'll put in Matt Malouf which i thinks is the better reserve.
Before i rant some more, i just want to let people know i handicap games by predicting how players will perform.
Bernard Morris is a better QB than all of Memphis' 3 QBs, but my charts predict that Morris will have a bad game tonight. There have been times when the situation is favorable for Bernard Morris and his team still can't win, ie, the New Hampshire game. But on one of Morris' better days he did play quite well for 24 minutes versus West Virginia.
Anyways, forget about my rambling.
I just don't feel as confident about the Memphis bet because Hankins may not be playing.
Here's how i graded the 2 QB reserves for Memphis.
Will Hudgens C+/C- Matt Malouf B+/B
My other concern is that the Memphis linebackers Kasser and Phelps are also questionable. Anybody have any updates on Phelps? I'll try and get that myself in the meantime.

tsw - Yeah, unfortunately their aren't complete bios on the Herd's receivers.
I have a feeling that Bernard Morris is going to have a very erratic game today. If i could predict how his wide-outs are going to play, that'll help confirm my Memphis wager.
We know that the Memphis corners and safeties sucks. And the questionability of Reed's start just makes that part of the grid less capable.
I'll just have to go with past results. All i know is that Cody Slate is a very dangerous target and he'll be hard for Memphis to defend. Especially when Kasser and Phelps are missing in the linebacker positions.
Everything just points to a Marshall victory eh? 3 games in 11 days. Players may be lethargic because they didn't missed some practice times as most of the alumni spent time consoling themselves over the Bradford incident.
Word is, the players will be wearing marked helmets for this occasion. Does that help Memphis? I'll not consider that as part of the situational handicapping, for now, as my answer is maybe.
I just can't put a wager on Marshall. When i look at the depth chart and assess the match-ups its clear that Memphis can put up a lot of points on Marshall. With or without Hankins i feel that Memphis can still put up 30-plus points on this horrid Marshall defense.

To be cont'd...
I meant to say that Memphis put off 1 day of practice.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of Marshall's last 6 games on the road Marshall is 1-9 SU in its last 10 games on the road Marshall is 1-10-1 ATS in its last 12 games on the road Marshall is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games Memphis is 2-12 SU in its last 14 games Memphis is 1-7 SU in its last 8 games at home
Those trends make me sick.
I'm sticking with the Memphis bet. Regardless of the outcome tonight, i'll still be over 70% ATS, hehe.

Hankins may not have a job when he gets healthy, can't remember the dude's name for Memphis but he put up like 325 yards (not to mention a 50 yard TD pass dropped)
