When I first saw this line I thought that's a lot of points to give a team that's playing this well, under these circumstances.
And it obviously all depends on how much you think Syracuse has left in them. You could see how tired Johnny Flynn was down the stretch - he wasn't even trying to hide it. But some of those guys, particularly their shooters, seemed to have plenty of energy left for another night.
Of course that was the big question last night but they were able to run on excitement and adrenaline, and you have to wonder if they can do that, yet again. Sometimes it's not until the following day that sleep deprivation really hits . . . . of course - it really helps if you're 20 years old.
Still, we know Louisville's gonna' put the press on the entire game and try and create that helter-skelter pace that causes teams to make mistakes - but you heard Johnny Flynn after the game. He knows it's coming and feels that if they can remain composed and protect the ball they'll be alright. In which case 7.5 points could be way too many if Syracuse keeps the freakin' magic going and this game could be close.
However, we also know how athletic Louisville is, how good defensively, and what kind of general tear they've been on since losing to Notre Dame. And that could be the difference, regardless of anything Syracuse is doing.
Still, it's hard to be against the Orange right now, especially with 7 & a hook in your back pocket.

The spread is big enough for people to jump on cuse....I think its a trap...they know that cuse wont be able to keep up in the second half......they will be exhauseted...20 years old or not. it will be harder to keep that intensity at the end of the game.

Though the Oranges are probably a bit tired I still feel the total is set a bit too low and though I'm on a 2-8 total run last 10 so be careful if u agree with me on this 1 but... OVER 132

Seeing Syracuse let a five point lead at the end of regulation slip away last night (including not scoring a field goal in the last 4 minutes) against a team they clearly had the edge on in talent tells me that the fatigue is starting to be a real factor. Yes, they did pull it off in overtime with some solid play, but only after a break and time to regroup.
I think syracuse will have a letdown at some point tonight, even if they play some good ball at times trying to keep the "magic" alive. So, I think the best play is Lousville 1/2, and then doubling up on the second if the first half play doesn't win. I just can't see syracuse dominating lousville for another 40 minutes...

Cuse is New York's basketball team, not Louiseville. Madison Square Garden is Cuse's temple. Fade Cuse tonight fellas for the Big East Championship, fatigue wont be a factor, they are 20 year olds.

THE "VILLE" and a # 1 seed tonight. T Will has been holding back for this game he explodes tonight. Cards run Cuse into the ground. Hello WV was favored by 6.5 are the Cards only 1 point better then them.

Hope Louisville drills Syrapuke. Too many points for a shit team that's playing well. I'm laying off this one.
You shouldn't be posting junk like this on here, Louiseville is gonna be puking there brains out after a big upset tonight son. The Cardinals are over rated.

i dont think you can use them being tired as an excuss for not winning this game. if there was ever a game to be tired it woudl have been last night against wvu. when you get the blood flowing and are in the heat of the game these kids will not be tired. They showed it last night. i can see why you bet lousville but if the only reason is that you think cuse will be tired in the second half you should rethink ur decesion.

That's actually not true pickenwinners. It's very common for a team that plays a tough game/road stretch to perfom fine the game after, but then fall apart on the next game.

Sure... huge game for both teams... but, for Louisville it means an undeniable No. 1 seed... and short travel for team and fans to Dayton and Indianapolis in their run to a Final Four slot in Motown.
So, gotta believe Pitino's gameplan is to ratchet up the pressure a few notches... and make every minute of this game as excruciating as possible on the Orange... and, we've all seen what Louisville's pressure "D" has done to teams on full days rest... Syracuse comes into this one having played the equivilent of 4 games in L3 days.
Syracuse on one helluva roll... but, I'm betting they finally fold tonight and U of L gets it done:

Hey, Tidy: Of course Syracuse doesn't care about Louisville's NCAA seed, you idiot... but, to completely disregard that kind of team motivation in such a high profile national TV game is to be a handicapping moron.
Bet on, or root for, whoever the hell you want. This site is an exchange of facts and opinion... don't show up here and show everybody you're a dipshit.
