Getting the Tuesday card started a little early. A whole bunch of tournament games will be added tomorrow morning and I wanted to be finished with the currently available games. Only one jumps out, however:
Yale +10.5 @ Seton Hall (2 units) Rare multi-unit play for me and it will be complemented by a money line play tomorrow. Couple things here: Seton Hall just returned late Sunday night from a 3 game/4 day trip to Charleston, where they played some solid competition en route to a 2-1 record and second place finish. The Pirates are not a deep team, only playing 8 guys in the rotation. Now, they turn around to play a sneaky good Yale team less than 48 hours after returning from Charleston. Yale features an NBA prospect in 6'11 center Greg Mangano, as well as two honors-worthy candidates in 6'9 combo forward Jeremiah Kreisberg and senior point guard Reggie Wilhite. The Bulldogs have had five days to prepare for this game and come into Newark the far more rested and healthy team
Blue Ribbon grades Seton Hall's depth as a "C." This could be a huge factor, especially late in the game. Yale has a number of big, skilled bodies, particularly Mangano, who made the U.S. Under-21 national team. Yale is well-coached, experienced, and fully loaded to make a strong run for the Ivy League title. Outside of Theodore and Pope, Seton Hall is really, really young and I don't expect them to be fully prepared for what Yale will be bringing in tomorrow evening.
Leans: Appalachian State -2, Tennessee State +27.5

Hoping for around a -6 on Memphis. I took Michigan yesterday anticipating the 1-3-1 giving Memphis problems on offense combined with their typical ineptitude in a halfcourt game. Totally different story today, though, with the young Volunteers showing an interest in playing an up-tempo style. They don't have the talent snd/or experience to hang with Memphis in that style of game. Only concern is that Memphis can be lazy at times and the game will be tipping off at 8 A.M. local time. Still, they should be pissed and raring to go after yesterday. Plenty of people are down on Memphis after being burned by them yesterday, so hopefully that leads to a more favorable line.

With the Memphis/Tenn game, what do you think about the Over?
Both teams' D suck and both teams have pretty good, up-tempo offenses, so I'm looking hard at the Over, despite the early start of today's game.
nropp11 thinks that the Under might be a play, albeit a risky one.
I dunno... I like the Over with this game.
Tempo should be very quick, but there will probably be a lot of turnovers, which could keep points down. It's also an 8 A.M. local time start, way too early for me to even consider an over no matter who is playing. It should be available for live bet so just watch for awhile to get a feel for how things are going.

Tennessee State dropped, still considering it, though. Off Appy State. Don't trust them against lesser competition. Lean to Buffalo/Canisius over and W.Carolina/UNI under.

Per Twitter, Pierce Hornung likely out of the lineup again tonight with a concussion. Going to keep riding the Colorado State "over" train, especially against the pressing, trapping style of Manhattan. Should be plenty of open looks for the Rams' guard-based offense.

Current Card Yale +10.5 @ Seton Hall (2 units) Tennessee vs. Memphis -3.5 (2 units) Canisius vs. Buffalo Over 137.5 (2 units) Manhattan @ Colorado State Over 133.5 (1 unit)
In the Manhattan/CSU game, many of the things I've said about the Rams over the last few days still apply. They saw a trapping, pressing defense last night against UTSA and repeatedly attacked the basket after breaking the press. They should get some quick scores in transition. When Manhattan is on offense, CSU might still have some trouble. If Hornung does not play, which is the likely case, Manhattan has a few guys who could do damage on the offensive glass. This has been a huge issue in Hornung's absence, particularly in the blowout loss to Southern Miss.
