bob knight also said pitt would win the national title 2 years ago as a 4 seed anyways i kinda think syracuse might be the pick here as well. this isnt a true road game, it is a road trip into nice weather tho and that has me a little concerned.

your a good hdcper not a great one but good which is why your up there was a post on another thread where youlose the close ones i think your info is off or your method is not matching those games. But like every hdcp knows your only as good as your last and the past is just that the past. There will always be bashers on this site but u have proven longevity which = cash in hand.Keep up the good work and remember some of us arent tryinig to bash but give a look on the way we see certain games keep your vision wide but throw out the garbage!

Read GH thread he has a pretty good short and easy write-up. This is just a revenge angle for me.

Tough game.
Syracuse all the way for me for a few reasons.
1) My math has Syracuse by 6-7 based on current performance.
2) Florida has been the beneficiary of some really bad shooting by their opponents so far this year. They are holding their opponents to under 25% behind the arc. Of course, part of that is due to their renewed commitment on the defensive end of the court this year, but there is no way the Gators will continue to hold teams to 22% from three for the entire year. So if you normalize the three point percentage somewhat you can even add a few more points to the Syracuse side. . . Teams will eventually shoot better against them this year and that may happen tonight.
3) Syracuse has dominated multiple styles of offenses and defenses this year. They are leading the country in steals and are second in blocks. They generated 10 steals off of Cal, which has one of the best backcourts in the country, and were by far the more physical team when they played the tarheels, who may have the best frontcourt. I expect them to extend the zone like they did against Cal tonight and bring the game to the Gators.
I can't see Florida getting much in the halfcourt game, so if they want to win they need to beat Syracuse down court. Unfortunately, I see Syracuse getting more fast break opportunities with blocked shots and turnovers than I see Florida creating.
There is always a lot of volatility when you handicap Syracuse, because you never know how teams will handle their zone. If you're backing Florida, it does help that Florida did get a taste of it last year.
SYR -2 for me.
Good luck regardless. . .
