Couldn't get back to you earlier Joe, been out all day.
I took Creighton @ Wichita St. for basically the same line. I thought that was a better value because a fully healthy UNI team is tougher to beat on the road than a Braeuer-less WSU.
I like spots like that where an important player is out, but maybe he isn't being properly accounted for in the line. I don't get to see the games, but my assumption is Mekel assumes most of the point guard duty with Braeuer out. That compounds the problem by having somebody out of position. In any event, the offense is effected, because it isn't a simple plug-in type of situation.
Same thing with Mizzou St. tonight. Manswell is a straight plug in for Richards' role, but he's not a reliable, experienced player you can depend on, so the team is effected.
UNI has no such problems, other than Adam Viet, who isn't an impact player and whose minutes can easily be distributed elsewhere.
Creighton is also in a second road game after a close win situation, which generally isn't favorable.
All adds up to no play for me, but Creighton is clearly the better team IMO. Just no telling what might go down tonight, at least for me.
