Temple's ready for another big season this year hopefully with an NCAA tournament win. They got hosed last year getting Cornell who should have been higher too. This year's squad is without Ryan Brooks who was the #1 scorer and defended the biggest and best guy on the other team. Attempting to pick up the slack will be Ramone Moore and Scootie Randall who each showed flashes last year of brilliance. Moore has been a stud in the preseason and people have noticed that Michael Eric is becoming more aggressive. The key is Lavoy Allen. The guy has a multitude of moves but he's not very aggressive. He needs to get angry in games and get emotional.
Other names to watch are Khalif Wyatt and Rahlir Jefferson. The latter will be the defensive stopper while the former will hope to fill the Ramone Moore off the bench role.
Seton Hall felt our wrath last season at their place and they've modestly improved. I just can't see the Owls losing this game at the Liacouras Center. I think Temple slows this down and makes Seton Hall play ugly. They forced the Hall to shoot 4 of 20 from 3 pt land and that was at their place. It will be a tough game but I think Temple pulls them down to ugliness and wins something like 67-60.
Other Picks....The key is to find the team with more talent/returning starters
Wisky Milwaukee +6.5 -- may win outright on a neutral court. Samford +3.5 -- Youngstown State is not exactly teeming with talent Cal Santa Barbera -3.5 -- lots of firepower
Not official plays but: Texas Tech -23 Rider +5 Princeton -7 Southern Miss +3 Pacific +9 UALR +10 Chattanooga +22 Appy State +7

GL to your squad tomorrow! I think it will be a very competitivegame that could go either way in terms of who covers. Really want to pull the trigger on Seton Hall but may be too close a game for me to bite

Playing at the Chiles Center, which is Portland's home floor.....doesn't bother me though as I am on Wisky-Mil as well....my line is shorter than you have, but I still think this is a tight game to the wire.....GL Blake...always enjoy your stuff

Jeremy Hazell is the only reason I can't take Temple. He is one of those guys that can just get hot and not miss the rest of the night. Robinson and Pope are also nice pieces inside.
