Just wanted to post my final card in an easy to find thread - if you want my more detailed writeups and answers, its in the friday play alert thread. Let me start by saying that I have bought OFF the NMSU game. I RARELY worry about line movement and I NEVER use it as one of my angels to handicap, but that being said, I believe line movement is most key in the first few days of the season when noone has seen these teams play. For that reason, I'm off NMSU although I still like the play - Here is my card with the main angle why I like it:
PACIFIC +9 @ UTEP: Pacific won 12 road games last year, their best player is in the post where UTEP will be weakest and should be able to open up their outside shooting. Tim Floyd has admitted that they only have one set play on offense right now and that he has had to completely change their defensive mindset - this will take time - I REALLY like the points here.
UCLA -17.5 CSUN: UCLA will be much more uptempo this year, they are looking to start the season right and be dominate (unlike last season) and CSUN is one of the most lowly rated teams in the entire BlueRibbon previews.
SJSU -3 @ Eastern Washington: EWU has been crushed by preseason injuries, will be starting a walk-on pt guard, have had little time together in the offseason/preseason and has lost both of their exhibition matchups to Division II opponents. SJSU has one of the best guards in the country, they like to run (EWU likes to give up tons of points) and the guards shoot well from the free throw line.
That is the card for today - good luck with whatever you decide and we are all in this together

Good luck today friend... I may throw a smidgen on UCLA as well, they should have a huge talent advantage and with their new offense should be looking to push the tempo and score more than they have the past 4-5 years.

Kine, I don't remember you picking so many games as last year. I remember you have a play here and there but not this many.
Its mainly a time thing (its take me about an hour to research any particular matchup) - I might not make a bet for three or four days or might bet 2 or 3 in a night (I just rarely have enough time to dig deep) - this first week or two we have the advantage against the books as they will adjust their lines based on performance, so I have some teams I want to bet "on" (like SJSU in this particular spot) or teams I want to be against (CSUN and UTEP tonight) - the other lines were too tight or I had too many question marks. Even with this card - I only researched about 10 games that I thought we might have an advantage with and these three were the only ones that reached the standards to make it a play. Once the season gets rolling I won't have as many plays, but for right now - I have the time + opportunity to read dig deep - won't always be that way!

Should also mention that in the middle of Feb I will be betting EVERY system play so that could be anywhere from 0 to about 10 games on a particular night depending on how many games are on tap

Eeks. I already had bought the New Mexico game and then I saw that you are taking it back. Hope it still works out okay. Good luck tonight.
Still like the play - but don't like being on the wrong side of a 4-pt swing on the first game of the season. You can just bet the other side too, and then you will be just down the juice, if not - there are plenty of solid cappers who like NMSU anyway

I bought them earlier on BetUS at +1. They are now just +1.5 so I didn't see quite the swing you did...I'll just hold out hope. It was a smaller bet so it won't break me. Thanks for all your hard work.
