My logic here is simple. The Bomber defense has been fairly decent, while their offense has been EXTREMELY inept. In two games, Michael Bishop has gone 45 for 95 for 577 yards, 1 TD, and 4 INT, and a 52.8 QB rating. Overall, Winnipeg has scored less than 18 points per game.
On the other side of the field, the Lions couldn't get much going last week against the Argos until the 4th quarter. Jackson filled in quite nicely when Pierce got knocked out early, but his stats were somewhat padded by the complete Toronto collapse.
I think BC controls the ball and the clock in a low-scoring affair.

Have to agree, Bombers suck on offence and Bishop has just been terrible. These guys are so predictable in what they are going to do. They have a good kicker but field goals don't win games. last week had a chance a free tickets in the Montreal game at home and passed them up. I would have been pissed if i had paid for tickets or been a season ticket holder for this game they just basically sucked.
Heard a joke about a guy who gave his tickets to his brother inlaw for the Winnipeg/Montreal game. The brother in law phone him the next morning and demanded that he re-imburse him the 4 hours he lost in his life by going to the game. His lawyer says he should pay him out.

It makes sense what you are saying. Last year I believe this same game went under that total.
The only issue with Winnipeg is that when Bishop starts his games can have the potential to be high scoring.
If Winnipeg falls behind lets say 14-0 for example, there is little chance that it goes under. What happens is then Bishop starts throwing interceptions and starts fumbling. He throws every pass deep so if complete that will result in points.
If Winnipeg can keep this game close and they actually dont let Bishop start throwing the ball around like crazy I think they can keep the game under--
However if they fall behind, the coach lets Bishop start chucking the ball everywhere the game will go over. Bishop will throw 3 to 4 interceptions and fumble at least once--
If the game is relatively close and winnipeg runs the ball and thier D shows up, I think you have a WINNER my friend-

Thanks. Living in Toronto and having season tickets to the Argos, I got to see Bishop up close and I completely agree with what you're saying. I'm pretty confident, however, that this one will stay close enough that he won't be forced to throw on every down.

I had season tickets for 5 years before passing on them at the beginning of last season. Haven't regretted my decision yet.

Careful with your bets on this game.Coach Kelly said that he plans to start Bishop, but wants to put in Lefors for at least the second half.Winnipegs recievers are also a bit banged up, and Fred Reid has been stale the last couple games.
Still, the players say they are relaxed, and feel positive about a win in BC.They say they plan to come out strong, which I find hard to imagine happening. If anything, I like the UNDER in this game.
