Like Carolina two years ago and Atlanta last year, KC is catching the eye of the public quick. They have polarizing athletes on their team and they are making it look easy. So far they have beaten New England and are 3-0 ATS. I repeat....3-0 ATS. For me, this stat plays large into tonite. Here is why: If KC is the public team, the bait so to speak, then the Chiefs could make it look easy again especially in front on the national audience. What I go back and forth in here though, is KC, known for their defense doesn't have that good of a defense this year. It's their offense that looks great but in tonites matchup, they go against a Washington defense that is actually pretty good.
7 points is a lot and when you look at the somewhat accurate data of seeing the public double on the chiefs to cover, it makes you think m. I keep hearing this bs that if you are gonna take the dog, take them ML. Ok but again, 7 is a lot of points. KC can still win by 3 or 4 but not cover so let's not think that can't happen. For me, tonite comes down to one thing. Washingtons ability to stop the run. Can they? They did last week against arguably the best offensive line in football but is it as easy as just looking to a week prior to make your decision? No.
Lastly, I look at cousins and on the road, I worry that he will come back down to earth in one of the toughest places to play in sports. On the other side, you can expect Smith to take care of the ball. Again, if Washington wants to win this game, they are going to have to stop that run of the Chiefs. Hill will be guarded by Norman leaving Kelce as the difference maker tonite I'm very interested to see if Washington goes double tight end with Davis and Reed considering they are both great athletes. Thoughts?

It’s hard to win on the road. Unless the home team is unbalanced. Is the quarterback, defense, head coach, special teams suspect. If you answer yes to any of them then I suggest taking the points.
7 is a lot, but damn KC looks really good now. I’m not sold on Cousins, if he turns the ball over it doesn’t matter what the defense will do. They’ll break in the 4th qrt like Colts did last night.

maybe the chiefs keep winning , but imo they come back down to earth tonight , like marvin lewis , I wont back an andy reid coached team in primetime
being a stubborn capper gets you nowhere. Reid is the 2nd best active coach in the NFL. He's one of the most detail oriented coaches out there. Please don't compare him to Marvin Lewis. Not even close to the same.

Chiefs starting center is out..... eric fisher is questionable.... if fish cant go, I like Redskins to slow hunt down enough... we'll see... no eric berry in secondary either.... idk... i think redskins can make a game of it but i havent pulled the trigger

If you are the chiefs tonite, what's your first priority? You know Washington will want to stop the run so any chance we see the chiefs just come out and sling it? We may see that.....

I've been to many Chiefs games, including Thursday and Sunday night. They are insane. And everyone I talked to says Monday night games are even crazier. Salvador Perez, the most beloved Royal, is banging the drum tonight. Chiefs are going to win by two touchdowns. I got 500 on +145 -10.5 points. GL Chiefs fan for life.

I wasn't comparing them , just saying I wont bet on an andy reid team in a big spot , or primetime , and being a so called stubborn capper has made me a lot of money
Unless it's the first game of the year prime time against the pats

You are comparing possibly the worst coach in NFL history to Andy Reid? No wonder you have a Raider avatar! LOL
The worst coach in NFL history? Marvin Lewis has a winning record. Look it up sir. Lewis doesn't crack the top 25 worst coaches in NFL history. Marty Mornhinweg is the worst, IMO! But good luck tonight, JA!

I have dealt with Reid for the 14 years he was in Philly. The guy is an incredible regular season coach. He has had trouble in the playoffs and with clock management. I am not sure how "big" this game is for them other than its on Monday night. Its a non-conf game which most likely will have no bearing on their playoff chances. Chiefs are playing well and have a good amount of weapons and are playing at home. The o line injuries do concern me a bit though. Not sold on this Skins team just yet either. Played well against the Raiders but can they do it again tonight in a hostile environment?
