- K State has the better defense - K State has the better coach (Patterson is good but I'll side with Snyder) - K State has already showed they can win on the road (winning at OU) - Most the playoff talk is about TCU from the big 12, not K State, you think K State likes this? - TCU coming off hard fought win at WV, where they trailed almost the entire game, they have to feel very fortunate to have gotten the win, whats left in the tank? - K State won the only recent meetings (2012 and 2013) - K State has won 6 in a row ATS

another things about the TCU vs. WV game... WV turned the ball over 5 time, let me repeat, 5 times (most of those where they got the ball in + territory) and TCU STILL needed a game winning FG. I think this team is on borrowed time. They have exceeded expectations but now they are in uncharted waters. AND like i said, KSU will be able to play the disrespect card (nobody is talking about them).

counterpoint: TCU is that wildly fast/athletic team, which has been lethal even against these great Snyder KState teams (for example getting blown out by Oregon and Arkansas in recent bowl trips). Might not hurt TCU to get that scare last week and let Boykin get back down to earth/focused after seeing his Heisman hype fade.
Not sure if it's a great matchup/spot for KSU or not, but should be a great ballgame. God bless!

this year's version of K State matched up just fine against Auburn and OU. So i don't really agree with your point.

Exactly. If KANSAS st can match up with AUB they can be a good match up with TCU.. 3 point game IMHO ..:)

Abizzo, I agree, I like Kansas St, and I think they have every chance to win this game outright. I played them last week, and I played them against Texas Tech. And, as an Auburn fan I watched this team play Auburn, and I was very impressed. (I guarantee Auburn doesn't want to play them again!) I like the line where it is, but will take all I can get. So I am wondering, if there is a lot of talk about TCU, this line could climb. What are you thoughts? I am going to begin a position on them now, and may add depending on what the line does.

i don't really think this line will go back up... it opened at 6, and now down to 5 and i'm seeing some 4.5.. i wouldn't be surprised if it goes to 4 and settles in there.
predicting line movement is tough though so maybe you should just go with your gut.

interesting note, sort of: KSU just 4-30 against top-10 teams under Snyder, including 1-13 in those games played on the road against conference opponents
can't wait to watch this damn thing, gonna be a great game

will be interesting to see if Lockett can be a major factor in this game when matched up against TCU's Kevin White, coming off his monster performance against WVU WR/monster Kevin White (held him to 3 catches for less than 30 yards)

Since 2003, K State is 23-9 ATS as an Away Underdog

yep interesting (seemingly contradictory) trends there
...perhaps supports the contention that Snyder is a wizard but that's just not quite enough against the very best (IE Top 10) teams (just 4-30 SU against them and 1-13 in road games vs. Big 12 teams ranked in the top 10).
Will be incredibly interesting to tune in and find out...plenty to grab on to here to support you guys in betting KSU, and it does seem to be an overwhelming consensus play among the cappers here at covers...
