Las Palmas / Numancia : Spanish Cup
Two teams heading in opposite directions. After 8 games in league play, Las Palmas sit in 4th place with an outstanding home record, while Numancia are battling to avoid relegation. Although both teams may choose to sit certain key players to place emphasis on league play, I'm banking on Las Palmas to take this game more seriously for the home crowd.
Las Palmas @ 1.75 ( 2 units )
UTC Cajamarca / Int'l Gas
Neither team is playing " lights out " football to start the season, but Cajamarca have played well at home against much better then Int'l Gas Dep. I think we're getting decent value on the home side, especially considering Int'l Gas have only scored 1 goal in their last 3 away games.
UTC Cajamarca @ 1.91 ( 2 units )
Santos / Botafogo: Brazilian Cup
Santos are contenders for a top3 or 4 position in the table, while Botafogo are tied for last, and battling to stay in the 1st Division. Again, I'm not certain as to how much emphasis will be placed on a Cup game, but Botafoga have more League concerns then Santos. The m/l is juiced a bit at 1.65, so I'll take a punt on Santos to come out aggressively.
Santos 1st half @ 2.15 ( 2 units )
New England / Houston :
New England are battling for a home game in the playoffs, and clearly a team heading in the right direction the past 2 months. Houston found some defence the last 4 or 5 games, but their inability to score, sees them on the outs come playoff time. Heavy incentive for New England......Houston, not so much. Great value on the away side......worth a punt.
New England @ 2.75 ( 1 unit )
