Guys, like it or not, I'm combing my posted and tweeted plays this year for more accurate and concise record keeping. Sometimes I don't have time to post so I'll tweet if interested. My handle can be found in my spaces page. Had a winner today with the Lightning over
All my plays are 2 units unless otherwise specified.

OK Boys and girls ... here's my rationale for the Toronto/Sabres over tonight.
Scrivens goes back in goal tonight for the Leafs. Yes, he played well against the Habs but Montreal is offensively inept in my opinion while as Buffalo has more firepower up front and can do some serious damage against a goaltender I feel is NOT an NHL calibre goalie. He faced 22 shots against Montreal, not very many high quality scoring chances.
Scrivens has a GAA of 4.37 in 2 careers starts vs the Sabres (9 goals against in all) and last year trended "over" when playing at home.
As for Miller, the Air Canda Centre hasn't exactly been his best place to play the last two seasons. He sported a 3.07 GAA last year in 3 starts at the ACC and the season before that he registered a 4.07 GAA in 2 starts at the ACC.
Toronto has trended "over" when playing at home after a road game (27-12 "over" the last two seasons off a road game) and that number jumps to 14-3 "over" in their last 17 home games off a road win.
Buffalo was on fire scoring 5 against the flyers in their first game and with the excitement of the Toronto/Montreal season opener behind them I somehow feel the Leafs will not be able to keep the puck out of the net in this one enough to keep it under. My statistical models project both teams have a better than probable chance of scoring at least 3 each tonight and as a result, I will play my numbers.
Both these teams finished in the top 10 last season for goals scored in the first period (Toronto 6th, Buffalo 8th). I expect the atmosphere to be electric as usually is with these cross border rivals and with the referees finally starting to call more again (we'll see how long that lasts) I feel we got a reasonably good chance at seeing two first period goals. As such, 1 unit on the over 1.5 first period line at +102 will also go with this play.
SUMMARY
Buffalo v Toronto over 5.5 +112 ... wagering 2 units
Buffalo v Toronto over 1.5 +102 first period .. wagering 1 unit

Thx for the Islander OVER this morning. I gave you an "oh Yeah!" on Twitter
Thanks bud ... I saw that
Leafs squander almost 3 minutes of a 2 man advantage and do nothing with it playing 4 of the last 5 minutes of the first a man up.... boy does their power play look bad ... a lot of shots yes, but 2 real scoring chances. Horrible.

I agreed with you there... watch the game , and unbelievable , they were man up , but didnt score shiet for 4'.... dman ,,,, they really suck
They wasted the first minute of the 5 on 3 passing the puck around only to eventually get off a very low percentage effort ... we have a team full of Kaberles again with nobody wanting to take the friggen shot!! head-scratching for sure!
