Put that one behind us and get em tonight, Leaning toward pacers tonight. Look how bad Dallas played after OT loss to Bobcats on Sat. and that's with a day of rest in between. Hoping Raps look worse tonight after 3OT loss yesterday.

Thanks guys....your words of encouragement are much appreciated
Week 1: 4-1 +$2900
Week 2: 0-1 -$1200
Ok, let's put that horrid Dallas effort behind us, and move on to a new day.....here are my thoughts on today's games....there are several games I really like (yesterday was dogs, today it's favs):
Brooklyn - Nets plating pretty good ball, winning 2 straight...Cavs not, losing 3 straight....6 points almost seems to easy....seems fishy, though my gut tells me Nets should win easy
NY - Knicks can do no wrong, Magic can do no right....its a matchup of 4 wins in a row vs 4 losses in a row.....also seems to easy...really like this play and it almost made the cut
Sacramento - Portland in a funk and coming off a home loss last night to Atlanta....Kings coming off loss in LA on Sunday, but Lakers were playing with a lot of emotion, and Sacramento was missing Cousins.....at home Kings should be able to win this game....really like this play and it almost made the cut
But in the end, I decided to go with simple logic and fade Toronto. Today's play is:
Indiana - this play may end up making me feel like the world's biggest dope, but I have a very hard time seeing how the Raps will have anything left tonight after last night's loss....I watched the whole game and it was a demoralizing loss emotionally, as well as incredibly draining physically.....Calderon played 50 minutes, Derozen played 60, Bargnani 48....plus they had to leave immediately after the game and fly to Indiana.....Pacers last played at home on Saturday where they beat Washington to snap a 3 game losing streak, so they are rested and have some momentum.....Raps will have a hard time keeping this game with 20 points....

I don't post much on here, but I just read through your thread, and saw your last pick. I rarely play NBA, but I have already bet on Indiana. Just wanted to say I enjoyed reading the thread, and good luck!!

You are an excellent capper and have very logical sharp explanations. I was very impressed with your breakdown of the Pistons vs OKC game yesterday and I almost ended up betting them but took the Jazz -3 instead.
With that said, I think 9 is too much. These are professional athletes and the public will be hammering Indiana making the line much worse. I think it should be closer to -4 or -5, but not sure.

RUSSEL, Do you think TOR will break down 2nd half? looking to put big on Indiana 2nd half.
Look at the first half as leftover gas from their 3xOT game last night. There is no way RAPs will let their remaining healthy players play long minutes the second half in a pointless b2b game against IND. Look for IND to cover by the 7-8 minute mark in the 4th. Tied or close to it by the end of the 3rd.

R2k agreed with your assessment and had bet the game before seeing your write up. Had the part that the raptors would not have the energy to put in a good performance right, didn't figure pacers to shit the bed worse. I learned something valuable tonight - do not count on a poor team to bring home the money. I'll chalk this one up as a mistake I'll try not to make again. Still hanging with you brother Russ. We will get our money back.

OK Russell lets get back on the winning track. Thoughts about betting against the bums that blew it for us last night. Bucks pretty good at home -4 vs the pretty bad pacers?
