not by a country mile this year, maybe in the previous years, but since he started working on hes off speed pitches, hes been very close to a lights out closer, Jansen has a few more pitches to throw, but Chappy now has that off speed pitch that hitters never seen, everyone sees a cutter and its 1 of the most unhittabe pitches, of course Rivera mastered it, and Jansen is far from being a master of that cutter, ever though it is 3-5mph qucker, but Chappy has been working on that off speed change up where he paints the top corners with 101-103 and than throws that change up on a 2 strike count that is in the low 90's which is a fastball for almost 80% of the pitchers in the leage, thats what Chapman has this year thats mad a difference, on a 2 strike count, throw that inside 92-93 mph change, it comes out of hes hand as a regular 2 seam fast ball, but then just drops on you inside into the dirt, plus he stands so big on the mound, he looks like monster and hitters get scared even if they know whats coming, so i would put Jansen alittle ahead of Chapman, but so far both have been lights out in the post season,

chapman was about to be stomped outside NY stadium no more than 20 days because he was complete dog sh!t
not sure how a guy who has had 2 weeks of good closing but was blowing games 20 days ago is even on the same planet as Kenley Jansen who has virtually been perfect for 2 years straight.

One pitcher gave up 7 walks this season while the other pitcher gave up 20 walks on less innings/saves opportunities. Geez....wonder who would you pick...

add in Jansen seems to be a mental giant and Chapman seems skitish and this is a no brainer
