What's up fellas. Let's get an early discussion going for this detroit at toronto game as well as the rest of the card.
records by month:
april 44-48 +$4799
may 41-48 +$1831
June 24-45 +$814
overall ytd 109-141 +$7444
I have had 3 profitable months and if i didn't take the yankees like a jerk last night I would have been +K or higher each month. Parlays have been good to me and also when i have raised my bets i have been lucky and won. I am 6-1 in plays $500 or higher, including my 1K hit on the angels friday.
My record for June was way under.500 but i had a near K profit for the month.
I need to improve on my $100-$200 plays.
In the Detroit at Toronto game you got two ice cold teams. The Tigers hitters have great numbers vs Dickey but has he turned the corner? Also, will the Blow Jays bomb the young lefty Detroit is throwing? Detroit has ice cold bats.. Who is the play here and why? I want some afternoon action in the small range of $100-$200 I been talking about.

on the one hand Dickey's stats are awful against the Tigers.... Most of those stats are from when he was with the Twins and Mariners, however he has struggled but together back to back quality starts this year.
on the other hand Alvarez is putting together his first road start of the season with each of his previous three starts looking worse and worse then the one before it.
roof is suppose to be open which should help Dickey (many pitchers have claimed that they get more life and movement to their off speed pitches when the roof is open) hitters will also tell you the ball doesn't carry as well....
bottom line square plays have been money this year.... take the better pitcher for the better team at home on the short line

i tend to agree here. i think the blow jays are the play. lay the juice... most of the time i take the +120, +130 type teams i lose. Example... blue jays and yanks yesterday.. figured red sox and baltimore were too easy and yet they were infact too easy lol

I'm absolutely sure that Detroit is the public or "square" play. Getting them at + money against pitcher who has struggled at many points this season will be hard for any public bettor to lay off of.

agree to disagree.... Dickey is the Jays ace, line is short, he should be -160 to -180 here IMO

Hot day and wind is not blowing in a direction that benefits the knuckleball. Artificial surface at Roger's field does not trap and hold moisture, meaning less molecules in the air for that knuckleball to utilize for movement.
Jays tend to struggle with lefties they have not seen before.....
I'd lean Tigers here...but this is a tough one to gauge.
