I pushed on ORL but won the over so overall a good night.
ORL played outta their mind and if Kobe hadn't missed 5 free throws or gone 3-13 to finish the series would be over. I look for him to come out looking to kick ass and his teammates will follow suit. Gasol and Odom can't be stopped down low apparently. Who knew? So the only one beating LA is LA.
LA +3
maybe ML
either way I look for another close game and think the under is the way to go as well.

If it wasn't for kobe rigging FT shots, LA would've won.

L.A. is undefeated this post season coming off a playoff loss.
And that line rolled out exactly the way I was hoping it would.
I couldn't agree more with the LA backers on this one. We just saw about the best version of Orlando basketball they can bring to the table: hot at home, Dwight getting the benefit of the whistle, role players stepping up (at home), and an all time finals record FG%.
Kobe said at the press conference "they can stay hot for weeks", but nobody stays that hot.
LA played lackluster defense, got away from their game on offense and got too Kobe-centric. Pau was quietly 9 for 11 and Lamar was 4 for 6. You think they won't go back to pounding the post again in game 4?
And Phil Jackson said LA's practice today will focus more on their bench to, again, get the attention away from Kobe.
Orlando's offense is obviously clicking and they'll probably continue to execute well and force the choice defensively for LA, inside or out, but I expect the Lakers do a better job with their rotations and their effort, generally, on the defensive end.
Orlando is well coached, mature and resilient, but they're still outmatched in this series.
LA wins this game and then closes this thing out in Game 6 at home.
As for the total, I think it's about right so I'm stayin' away to favor the one play I feel very good about.

Magic had to set records in the last game to win (Orlando shot a finals record 62.5 percent -- including another record 75 percent in the first half). I am doing exactly what I did in the last game and buy the extra points and take the Lakers. Lakers may just win this one straight up! Hence the 2.5 point line.

.....and the under - - no way in hell Orlando shoots for another "record setting" 62.5% for 2 games in a row - and L.A. still almost took the game.....

Other than the boards, Howard's been really quiet. Coach will find a way to get him more involved in the offense. As soon as he starts finishing up his shots, he'll be lethal. Get him involved, and it'll open up easy 3's. See how many open 3's magic had in that game? Many were missed, but they had so many open looks. I think that continues in game 4 to tie up the series.
Not sure about the over/under. Had the over last night, but 201 seems high. It really depends on what type of tempo the teams plan on, but i'm leaning on under. Lakes have no D. If magic wins, they're gonna have to step up their D and that means under.
If that little girl sings again, i'm doubling up on the magic.

dont be certain that the magic will lose.... they have gone against alot this playoffs. from not covering to the sixers to fucking everyone on the cavs and now the public will love the lakers in game 4 where the magic should be outclassed... think again. this team is better than you think. one more win in o-town and we got a classic on our hands. the same kind of classic that the nba wants. the public is on la so go with the magic. 3-1 will drop the ratings too. remember the the conspiracy theory may be real involving the refs in nba. plus,,, has anyone ever seen a team hit the three like orlando this year in the playoffs. it's sick.. i wish i was on their side everytime they got hot but i wasn't. i hat magic but this may be another vegas winner as the series goes back to la 2-2 and the ratings soar. just like the nhl. maybe the refs will allow game 7 in nhl to do its own thing. play the conspiracy trend. magic again.

LAKERS +12.5
that is a lot of extra points considering how small the spread is.
