The Royal Couple have named their newborn son George Alexander Louis, bringing betting to a close on the name of Kate and William’s bouncing baby boy.

According to online sportsbook SportsInteraction.com, “George” opened at +1,200 and closed at +500 jumping over favorites like “William” and “James” after Monday’s announcement that Kate had given birth to an 8 pound, 6 oz boy. George was priced at +900 at UK book Bet365.com the day little George Alexander Louis was born.

One of the most popular name props was the “number of surnames”, with 60 percent of the action taking “Four or More” at -110. However, books cleaned up on “Three or less” at -125.

Those wagering on the weight cashed in on “8lbs to 8lbs 15oz” at +350 and those betting on the time of day for the delivery won on “12 p.m. to 11.59 p.m.” at +100, with the baby being born at 4.24 p.m. after 11 hours of labor.

While the name game is over, there are plenty of props available surrounding the Royal Baby. PaddyPower.com has odds on place of christening (Buckingham Palace, Music Room -139), first word (Papa -175), age of first photographed nightclub visit (16 or under and 17 to 18 at -111) and when Kate and William will welcome their second child (2014 -125, 2015 at -120, 2016 or later +350).
