The Georgia Bulldogs attracted a lot of attention from Las Vegas wise guys Friday, as  the Golden Nugget released the first college football lines of the season at 3 p.m. ET.

According to an opening line report from ViewfromVegas.com, UGA opened as a 6-point underdog to Boise State in an opening week game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. By 6:40 ET, Boise State was only favored by 1.5-points over the Bulldogs.

UGA also received a lot of respect in its Nov. 12 home game against Auburn. The Dogs opened as 4.5-point favorites but were giving the defending national champion Tigers 9, when the Golden Nugget sent out updates at 6:40 ET, approximately three hours after they posted lines lines on 105 college football games.

Bettors were allowed to place a maximum of three bets with a limit of $1,000 per wager, before they were sent to the back of the line.

In some other marquee games of note. Oregon opened as a 3-point favorite over LSU in a Week 1 game at Dallas Cowboys Stadium, but was bet down to -2. Oklahoma opened as 3.5-point favorite in its Week 3 trip to Tallahassee, but bettors took Florida State and dropped the line down to the Sooners -3.
